the atmosphere looks incredible but the service was not as expected for a castle, the waitresses treated us with a lack of empathy, the normal food I didn't find anything different and the delay was terrible, more than 40 minutes and the juices we ordered took a long time to arrive 1 and the other 2 took a long time for everyone to eat and none of the juice, when the waitress brought the juice I finally said thank you very much but it was no longer necessary as we had finished the food with water and no longer needed the juice and she looked horrible He ignored me and turned his back and when I spoke...I wouldn't come back...I finally left NORTH Carolina for a bad experience

Booked Castle Farm for dinner and just wasn’t that impressed, especially for the prices. It is really impressive to visit a castle and the ambiance is really appealing. After that, it goes a bit down hill. Service was friendly, but extremely slow despite not being busy. We also had trouble contacting the restaurant to adjust our reservation to add people. They don’t answer the phone and did eventually respond to an email after a couple of days. Our party started out with bread service which was excellent. Milk bread rolls with a great butter. We hit several of the entrees across the table and all were good not great. The fried chicken was probably our best, but the accompaniments were lackluster. I ordered the steel head trout. Excellent presentation and flavor, but a bit small. It was well cooked, but unfortunately came out lukewarm warm which was disappointing. It was also fairly small, for $68 dollars (the price of a good sized steak at similar restaurants) you would expect to at least be full from the entree. The bill also took forever to come out. We were hoping for a lot more and beyond the castle atmosphere everything was average.

Disappointing first experience at the Castle Farm. Food was just ok. We started off with the charcuterie board for the table. At $38 we expected more. It was fine both nothing special. My husband and I then both ordered the seabass. Again, at $65 we expected more. My husband's was cold 1/2 way through. Everything took much longer than we would have expected. We weren't in a rush by any means but both courses took what felt like an unnecessarily long time to arrive. Server was nice enough but, again, just ok. Waters and my husband's iced tea weren't refilled in a timely manner. We were looking for a special experience and this sadly wasn't it.

We were the only ones there for breakfast. Food took a long time and husband's food was entirely cold (inside). His meal was comped. Blueberry cornbread was good. Mushroom spinach omelette was huge and good. Potatoes just ok.

1st time at Castle Farm. Celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary. Maddy was fantastic. She walked us through the menu and gave us her personal recommendations. The Beef short ribs were so tender and the Wagyu melted in your mouth. She was right the bread was like dessert. We will 100% be back.

The waitress and place was amazing my husbands steak was not edible at all due to massive amounts of fat told the waitress but nothing was said or done about it meal was 200 dollars and my husband didn't even eat !!!! More than that no apology no followup after we told our waitress no one came over to talk to us of offer to replace his steak That is just not what we expected from this wonderful place ! We chose to spend our 40 th wedding anniversary here to eat and it was not a great experience Shame on you all for no followup of our complaint of the terrible steak you should be better than this

Memorable and unique location! We took our daughter here for her 6th birthday lunch at 11am. Service was extremely slow and spotty. We waited an hour for the food to come out. I asked if that is normal and they said it is during brunch. Okay but no drink refills in that hour and when the food finally did arrive, the three strips of bacon for $8 were so overcooked we did not eat it (removed from bill). I have had really positive experiences here, including an awesome music event. Maybe today was just an off day for the restaurant but it will not be my recommendation list for Lex, going forward.

Great atmosphere. Overall food was good except my fries were served cold. Hostesses were excellent. Service at the table was very disappointing. I recommend for the Overall experience and atmosphere of being in a castle.

Excellent brunch; food was fabulous and staff extremely accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere, use and history of the Kentucky Castle makes it a great choice for a unique special getaway.

A postponed birthday luncheon for friend and special since had never been to Castle. Went to Pisgah School while Castle was being built. She was thrilled to view limited space of Castle and the food & service was excellent. We are looking forward to having our friends Christmas luncheon. Thanks again for a terrific visit! The overall experience was very good. Unfortunately 3 items on the menu were not available. No explanation and we were there early so the items were not sold out. Our waiter, Adrien was excellent. Would definitely recommend this experience.

We had very good food and a pleasant server who was busy, so we had to remind her to refresh coffee or iced tea. IThe Castle was a good place for a table ranging from age 8 to 80. We were seated in the casual bar area. The only disappointment was that we were celebrating 2 birthdays and there was no special dessert brought out with a candle on it. Usually restaurants, when informed, have some treat to make the occasion memorable. Overall, we had a nice time and will return.

By far, the best brunch date ever! So beautiful inside! Everyone very friendly, couldn't have asked for a better waitress than Emily! The recommendations were fabulous! Definitely will be back again.

Wonderful place for breakfast on the Northwest corner of Lexington. KG was our server and he went above and beyond to make sure our meal went well. Definitely try the Fried Chicken Biscuit and the Country Ham/Brie Breakfast sandwich. We will be sure to dine here again in the future!
