Our experience this past Friday pretty much echoes the commentaries offered by others. An absolute EXCEPTIONAL afternoon; with phenomenal atmosphere and delicious food! The Chef is BRILLIANT; but also super friendly and helpful (we met her beforehand, as she co-manages Irish Acres). As just one example of her genius, we had the chicken in phyllo dough, and when we saw the menu online, we were like, "sun dried tomatoes"? But they TOTALLY made the dish, with a bright pop of acid and tart, right when you needed them. The appetizers were the standout, though - the shrimp was perfectly done, and the spirals of pasta with alfredo and parmesan were TO DIE FOR. As I've mentioned in previous reviews, the sign of a truly phenomenal dish is when you take that first bite and immediately groan and go, "OMG - you HAVE to try this!" to your dining partner. That was the case throughout our meal at The Glitz. All in all, THE perfect holiday celebration. Side note: I rated service a "3" only because they took a long time to get to us - but in fairness, they were SUPER friendly and helpful throughout our meal, and were just BURIED by having several large multi-party groups. We never felt "neglected," and were more than occupied with the delicious treats!
Oh my goodness this place was remarkable! After hearing about this from a friend, I was so excited to eat here! Everything was magnificently wonderful! From the ambience, decor and atmosphere to the service, wait staff and food. When I walked in, I felt like I was walking into a winter wonderland. The service was 5 star exceptional! Each dish came out quick, drinks were always refilled, all the staff were attentive and kind. The food was exceptional! I loved that’s it’s a set menu and you choose your appetizer, entree and dessert. Also includes coffee and tea, and a glass of their delicious apple drink and I can’t recall the name, but it’s like drinking Christmas in a glass. I can’t believe I have never heard or been to this unique dining experience! I can’t wait to go back! This is perfect for a girls day out, family get together, day date with your significant other.

Food is ok, for $47 meal I would expect more . Everything seem to have sugar in it from appetizer to entree. However they do accommodate large groups. Atmosphere is great just no cell service in the restaurant. Greta place to walk around and shop.

You have to try this place. Everyone who works there is so happy to be there. I have been there four times since April. The menu changes every three weeks. I have never had anything that I did not like. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is magical.

This is another one of the gems in Kentucky that if you are visiting the state definitely make a reservation for the glitz! You'll enjoy the chefs menu of the day and can browse a two-story schoolhouse of antiques and gifts! Be sure to tell Jane you heard of it through Realtor Lynn Lindsey & her niece #1
