I’ve been on a lot of tours and tastings but this one was one of my favorites. Jamie was our tour guide and he was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and funny. This was the first time I’d been to a tasting where I feel like I learned how to taste bourbon and whiskey properly.

It was a great tasting of their basic line up but the website description for spectacle of the senses is a bit misleading. Also please note 3 of what we tasted were not burning they were whiskeys which none of us drink so that was unfortunate that it wasn’t a bourbon tasting like we had hoped. It is far from a tasting paired with small bites. Small bites would be something such as a canapé or an Amuse-bouches. It’s simple a piece of dried fruit and a malt ball or a pice of a parm chip. No diff than any other tasting we did. But disappointing had much higher expectations

A quick and informative tasting! We didn’t want to waste a lot of time walking around and looking at stuff! Just wanted to be educated on bourbon and that’s what we got! It was our first stop on the bourbon trail!
Beautiful distillery, awesome tour with Ashley, phenomenal tasting. I really loved hearing about then history of this distillery and how Woodford has kept some of it intact. Totally recommend checking it out!

Beautiful grounds, unfortunately very little of the tour involved walking the grounds. The tasting involved food pairings that added another level to the experience. Our guide Chloe was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about whiskey. The tasting room allowed you to purchase allocated tastings at a steep, but reasonable price. I would highly recommend buying a pour of the double double oak tasting for $45 if the double is one of your favorites. 4.5 stars.

My wife and I did 12 or the 18 distilleries on the Bourbon Trail on our recent trip. This was for sure in my top 3 tours. I highly recommend this distillery. I love their products so I am a little bias, however, their tour was awesome. Get the original Old Fashioned at the bar, you will not be disappointed.
