Great little place. Hard to find good sandwiches, and I really like the Italian and inside out hot brown. 1 of the 2 potato soups is very good. My wife likes their clubs. They make great tea, and you can actually drink it without having to mix it with unsweetened tea. I was introduced to this place a couple years ago by Jeff and Angela Cress, and never look back. Hopefully one day you guys will get enough help that you can open back up on the weekend! Keep up the good work!
This cafe was superb and the best soup you could get around. For a small business to survive as long as they have in the age of Paneras and Starbucks, you know they're doing it right. The service is always friendly when we go and the food is top notch, but I guess lately they've been having a hard time staffing because their hours seem to change or they just close up. Gaunce's is not a new building so it's not going to look cute or trendy or anything, but it's well kept. The young server man that wears hats is so stinking nice! All of the staff has been nice, but he stands out. The sandwiches, soups, and salads are good! They have lots of options and are open for breakfast. Always had a good meal here. You can count on Gaunce's.
