Great tasting experience! We enjoyed how connected they were (Kyle? Carl? Don? That guy) to their source ingredients and how enthusiastic they were to share their history. We learned a lot about the history of bourbon in Kentucky and the specific history of their own distillery. It was a great time and I highly recommend it!

Had a great experience at Regeneration Distillery! The Distiller/Bartender Kyle was super nice and knowledgeable. The place is laid back and very comfortable. Wonderful product as well.

We had such a great and informative visit to Regeneration Distilling! We did a tasting/tour with Eric and he shared so many cool facts about the process and the building itself. LOVED the cinnamon rye whiskey.. will be looking forward to purchasing it in the near future! Definitely worth a visit if you are in town! Great guys running it.

The moonshine was interesting with a base of sweet potatoes but the Boone’s Settlement Wheated Rye Whiskey was fantastic ..!! Never had a Rey like this. Sweet on the tongue and so smooth going down. The finish was rich and full. Highly recommend. It is a small batch producing distillery but everyone there was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if your in the area.

Like all KY distillery experiences, this one was unique & interesting in its own way. A GREAT time.

Absolutely love what they are doing with sweet potatoes!! The bar space is nice and open and decorated just rustic enough to match the historic building. The gal that toured us and provided our tasting was one of the friendliest gals we've come across in a long time! The moonshine is great, it's got just enough sweetness to counteract the wonderful moonshine bite. The tasting itself is tiny, like super tiny! A couple of the tastings barely wet our tongue so we couldn't really get a feel for the flavor. We enjoyed a couple cocktails and definitely enjoyed our chat with the bartender and a group of others that came in. The fact that they are doing something so unique and different deserves a visit!

Stopped in for lunch while driving through on a road trip. The place itself has a very interesting history and backstory. The food was okay, we had BBQ burgers and fries. It was nice to stop in the middle of a long drive, but I would not go out of my way to eat here.

Not sure why the menu got changed bc food was great last time we went.. Super disappointed this time, wings were OK, mushrooms OK, eggrolls starchy and didn't taste fresh, spinach/art dip was frankly bleh and chips were stale...

I’m not understanding any of the positive reviews of this place - either customers have really low standards, or they business has recently had a very unfortunate decline in service…We went in with a work group on a Thursday, everyone arriving at staggered times in pairs or threes, and the place was empty aside from us (maybe 15 total?). There were two women working the bar and seating area, one male ‘cook’ (although I’m not sure anything is made fresh, from the menu and the dishes I saw come out it appears everything can be reheated from frozen then covered in or coupled with a sauce), and one preteen boy (??!!) sitting on the long side of the bar; there was also one adult male in a polo walking around for a bit, but he acted as if he was off work. We were the only two people at the bar (aside from the kid), on the short side closer to the seating area, and everyone else already had a drink. Somehow it took us 25 minutes to receive bottled drinks, and we had to actively recruit the woman behind the bar to do something other than talk to the kid or wander around somewhat aimlessly. God forbid you ask about happy hour, which is clearly written on their chalkboard as 4-6, but when we asked the woman behind the bar, she defaulted to the other server, who texted someone (??) to inquire, and that person responded 7-9 pm, but maybe just for food, or does that include drinks too? The world may never know, we certainly didn’t, as there was zero clarification (or any sense of urgency to offer it). My husband ordered some overpriced (full price, not happy hour) wings, and I ended up only having one drink after he had to chase down the ‘bartender’ (term used loosely) for a second. If this were the only bar in town, I’d say buy packaged liquor and take it back to your house/hotel - this place is more of a frustration than a desirable destination. One star for the cool reuse of a historic building, and one star for the ladies working, because despite their complete and utter lack of organization and professionalism, they were nice, and did provide me with warm water to make a bottle for my baby.

Wasn't bad for what was available.Total bust according to the great website offerings.Great location, great appetizers, but appetizers is all they have e to offer for food.As we left other tables had burgers..That's bullcrap.I planned this trip to make sure that I was able to make it happen on a Saturday night and was extremely disappointed ?Bourbon is low grade and moonshine is much better.Beers are good.Great place to visit, but not a great place to to go on the Bourbon trail.

Burgers were extremely good, Ale8 moonshine slush was really good too. I bought several of each of the spirits. Now, I need to find out if they would sell and ship more. Highly recommend eating at Wildcat Willy's. You won't be disappointed.
