Dont go there for dinner,constantly burns the burger. Worth it to just go across the river to Colfax or Tioga location. Lunch crew is great,night crew does not care how the food comes out.

Unbelievably good. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned.Honestly, I had no clue about this place until my sister mentioned it, but man, am I glad she did. Darrell's deserves every bit of praise, and anything less than five stars just wouldn't do it justice.The folks cooking up the magic at Darrell's are seriously talented. You can taste the love and effort they put into every dish.Long story short, huge thanks to my sister for putting Darrell's on my radar. If you're in Alexandria and you haven't tried it yet, you're seriously missing out.

Frustrating that there is always a long wait on chicken. Also, when you pay almost $7 for a large order of frys you expect a large order, not the small. Unfortunately I didn't check my order before I pulled away from the window. Just my opinion, but chicken should be ready during prime time, such as lunch or dinner hours. Food is over priced for quantity, and lacks quality.

There are too many fried chicken places to count in this town, mostly within a couple blocks of this one. But Darrell's never disappoints. It's always good, and they have some great family pack options. Generous portions for the price, and a great house sauce for the nuggets and tenders.

This place was a breath of fresh air. Walking in it was very very clean, everyone greeted us as we walked in, was very polite and well mannered. Service was crazy fast, the food was delicious and I couldn’t be happier to finally walk into a restaurant, encounter polite inviting folks and eating food that did not disappoint. This is something that has been lacking lately and I was close to throwing in the towel with eating in town, but this place made my day. The Burger was perfect, the Chicken was very crunchy, juicy and delicious, yes it could have had a little more seasoning but the quality of the chicken compensated very well, the dirty rice was perfect, perfect, perfect. I don’t care what you go here to order, get a side of dirty rice and try it, you wont be disappointed. The onion rings were awesome and the fries were simple but crunchy and fresh. Check this place out if you’re looking for something new and fairly priced.

I seen reviews online how people boast about the place. I came from out of town from a VA appointment and never been. Told the cashier I never been there before and was introduced to the manager and they were nice and welcoming. I got served my food to the table, and I even got a free piece of chicken for being the first time of me being there!!! I never experienced such hospitality and love like this. Unless I was at a fancy restaurant. I highly recommend coming here and seeing the experience. Food and service is 10/10. You do not know what you missing Sha. And I will definitely be back.
