One of those places that captures the exclusive excellence of local food that embodies the surrounding culture and what it values. At Philly's, it is clear that fast, fresh and mouthwatering fish and other dishes are poignant staples of the city and it's residents.? ? ? ? ⚠️ Drive thru and pickup only!

Man yall sleeping on Phillys in Alexandria, la! Food is always fresh and hot. I've never eaten anywhere where the food so good I don't need ketchup or hot sauce to add to it. Great price friendly service. Good prices.

My daughter and son said they have the best nuggets ever so they asked if we could go by after school. To my surprise their nuggets were delicious, I had to take a tax bite....and great prices, cheapest in town for 5 nuggets and French fries for $4.99 and while looking at the menu I saw they had a 4 piece fish with fries for $4.99 as well....and I must say this fish is AMAZING...the batter was seasoned perfectly.....I'm a cook at heart and always get let down by other people's food....not this time...since we have tried their chicken strips are HUGE...and just as delicious.....so if your hungry and want some great food at fantastic prices...swing by Phillys.....we have been back 3 times in the last week....want to try more menu items but its hard to pass up the nuggets, fish and chicken strips.....thanks Philly's!

I've had a few cheese steaks from Philadelphia Pa and this spot is just as good as the original place. I was impressed with the cheese steak and the fish is awesome as well. I now live within walking distance of Phillys so I'm happy happy happy. One of the best places to get food from in Alexandria. Always busy which says a lot about the quality of food. Definitely one of my favorite places to get food from.

We made a last minute decision to pick up fried fish & I am so glad we did! Great fish, fried to perfection and the prices are so reasonable.

It’s pretty good. I just wish they replaced the substitute fish for catfish and lighten the salt on the fries.

The service was really fast and the staff was very polite! I can't give a perfect 5, unfortunately. The fries are tasty, but they could have been left in a few minutes longer as they are a little soggy. Same thing with the Gyro. It takes delicious but it's just kind of soggy. Maybe next time I'll try the wings or burgers. This place is worth a try!

This was my first time here. I arrived shortly before noon on a Saturday; the drive-thru was full, and there were two cars in the parking lot, two people waiting for orders inside, and a third guy strapping an order to his bike. When I left, there were cars waiting to pull into the drive-thru, the parking lot was almost full, eight people were waiting for orders, and the staff were HUSTLING--a very efficient crew working together effectively to get the orders done well, quickly, correctly, and into customers' hands. Cheesesteaks were done well on a flat top, real slices of provolone (?) cooked in, and just a touch of char. Worthy. Next time I plan to order with extra cheese and meat--it was just a touch short of awesome. Chicken strips are made from scratch in house. The flour mix has just the right amount of spice to let your mouth know you're eating in Louisiana, but not enough to deter little hands and mouths from pigging out. Chicken wings are also made in house and deep fried. My order had a little extra skin/fat on the wings that distracted from the otherwise excellent execution. No idea if that's a regular thing or just this week's supply, but it detracts enough that if my next order is the same, it'll be the last time I buy the wings. Because the wings are deep fried, there's no sauce ON them; this is NOT a sauce-and-broil operation, but that's fine--the wings are tasty on their own and will pair well with the beverage of your choice. The ranch tasted a little like tartar sauce to me, so I only dipped one wing in it. The BBQ sauce is PERFECT for the Chicken Strips--tangy and smokey with just a touch of sweetness--but the wings are better without any sauce, IMO. Fries are very good but not great fresh. I strongly recommend eating them ASAP because they aren't good cold. Beverages are Coke products and Dr. P in 16oz bottles. No seating areas. This is a 100% take-it-and-go establishment. There's enough space for a dozen people to go to the inside counter, but it gets a little disorganized during high-volume periods because there isn't any obvious/intuitive way or clear direction on how/where to order or wait. If we talk to each other, everything is easy...but it requires talking to each other...
