Go here. Came to Alexandria for a work trip. Wanted to try some crawfish in Louisiana and I went to the right place. I had not realized I had never had really fresh crawfish before in my life. Rosie Jo's served me and my husband the freshest and sweetest crawfish I have ever tasted before. I think I am ruined forever, doomed to return to South Texas to eat subpar crawfish for the rest of my life thanks to Rosie's. We also had the fried gator as an appetizer and it was soo juicy and fried just right. As a side, I tried a cup of the crawfish etouffee and it was spicy and just right. I always order the crawfish etouffee at Pappadeaux and Rosies was even better.

Season was not boiledinto the crawfish.Instead put sprinkles of season on the outside of crawfish=A real no no. Otherwise the fried green tomatoes and boudin and balls were good.

Amazing seafood for a very good price. Please stop by and enjoy some good eating.
My friend and I visited the restaurant today and received poor service. The lady took our order but never came back the table. It was another waitress came to the table asking what we ordered a hour later. The lady said the First Lady couldn’t find your ordered. The first waitress had the audacity to come to the table to give us the ticket to pay for the order but she never gave us our food or checked to see if we received our food. If Rosa Joes doesn’t want to serve diversity of people. They are in the wrong business.
I'm interested to know if anyone buying crawfish got more heads in their order without tails! We dined there last night and this happened to my husband's order! He brought it to the waitress's attention! She went in the back and came back with a result, that took his name and he will get a free order the next visit! So sorry that there will not be another visit! I hate to think why there were heads and not full crawfish. Please note I hate this was too many to say a coincidence. Board of health needs to evaluation this! May I also add that the floor was nasty!

Their fish is so good over here. I love the drinks. I haven't had the crawfish yet. Maybe they'll be the next thing I'll order with them

Stopped in driving through town. The food was great. Crawfish were on point. My daughter found her new 2nd favorite spot for crawfish. The etouffee was done right. Po boys were good. Boudin balls were delicious. Friendly staff. Very family friendly. My only complaint is that it was slow and yet the waitress kept getting distracted. But will be back again.
My family tried to his place for the first time. The crawfish, fish platter and bread putting were awesome but the brownie was dry. Over all, our experience was great and will definitely come back.
