This place use to be great, but ever since the owner the older gentleman quit working daily the place has gone down hill , all the regular employees have moved on and the food is just not the same, it’s a shame we use to love this place!

Food was almost so spicy was unable to eat and the pina colada I ordered had large ice chunks. Was unable to enjoy it so it was $9 wasted. Not worth the money paid for me and my husband to dine there.

The barbecue is just right, juicy without being raw. The waiter was friendly and very attentive, refilling our drinks very quickly. Enjoyed all the experience every time.
First visit to this location and I'm happy to say the residents around Alexandria are lucky to have this great place to dine like I have back home in Walker, La. The food was spot on to what I'm used to at my usual location. Very nice place inside and the staff was excellent. Will dine in again next time I'm up this way!

We drove out of our way to eat here because of the recommendation from the antique shop we stopped by along our last trip. It was wonderful! Definitely worth driving the extra distance!The service was outstanding! We were treated to gracious hosts and a fantastic server. Our group enjoyed the nachos, queso, steak fajitas and perfectly sweetened tea. The guacamole ? was fresh and delicious.We sat in a roomy booth with comfortable seats. Everything was clean. The background music was the perfect volume for a fun atmosphere that allowed us to hear one another easily. The chips and salsa were better than we were accustomed to.Treat yourself and enjoy a wonderful meal at Sombreros in Alexandria!
