I like Sonics food. That's not the problem. Incompetent staffing is the problem. I visited both of our locations and drove away without food both times. I've been back in Alexandria for 8 years now and my last try to give them a chance was the last.

Service was slow as heck. All I ordered was a corn dog, 2 mustard packets, an a route 44 cranberry drink, thru app. I witnessed 1 young man talk to a customer for at least 20 mins then he went back into restaurant came back out maybe 5 mins later an got in his vehicle an left. I press button to see what the hold up was, I couldn't understand what the person said, so I waited in hopes my food would be coming, pressed button again an a man answered saying he wasn't clocked in but he'd ask around. Finally a lady came out an apologized.

Ice cream machine is always broken. My girlfriend and I went for a snack and it's always broken. Staff is very rude and not clean. Also had to wait for over 20 minutes for our order after we had already paid. Very poor experience.
Weird guy on bike got super close to my vehicle and then proceeded to get cigarettes from co worker. and the speaker on the drive up spots don't work and I pushed the button for service several times and no one came to help for over 15 min. The other car next to me including myself drove off because we couldn't any help!!
