If this place has a down side, it's the parking, hey get brave and walk a little. I got the fried fish with rice and gravy. A good filet of fish, gravy wasn't over seasoned, couple of hush puppies that were cooked just right. Now if you are going to have the bread pudding, share with a friend or two. It comes with 2 scoops of ice cream and at least a 4x4 piece, it will hurt you. My waitress was the best, my tea never thought about going dry. Looking at all of the boils coming out to all of tables around me sure looked good.

Perfectly cooked excellent flavor the staff is friendly and quickly got my order. I was in there on a Sunday, so I was not able to dine in, but I will definitely be going back. And their takeout side they have a great variety of seasonings. 10 out of 10.

Oh my!! Yes to it all!! We had raw oysters, crawfish and bread pudding and it was all absolutely delicious! We are out of town just visiting but would absolutely make the almost 2 hour drive for the food ... YES, it's that good! Quaint little place. Parking was a bit tight. Decor was very interesting and unique. Our server was nice and kept drinks coming. Family friendly for sure. It's a must try if you're in the area!

2nd visit here with family. Today.. shrimp bomb bacon was raw. Had to send back shrimp salad...lettuce was brown and wilted. Crawfish were good as were boiled shrimp. Gumbo tasted more like brown gravy. Fried fish was good. No coleslaw or tater sauce served with fish. Would come back again ...but be careful in selecting what we order.

The shrimp poboy was pretty good, the bacon on the gater bombs was half raw, and the gumbo was very watered down. Our service was a sweetheart though. However, we will never be back… I’d rather spend $115 elsewhere.
Great food. I had the shrimp and catfish which was perfectly cooked. They even made my catfish thin and crispy to order. My wife had the salmon and asparagus. She raves about the wine butter sauce. She also got extra sauce (up charge). We'll be back soon.

The Cajun rolls might be the best thing I've ever tasted and the catfish was really good as well. The "swamp sauce" that they serve is good enough to drink by itself. My favorite Cajun food in Alexandria.
