Food was excellent, service was great! However, the hotel at least that portion, seems a little rundown. The tile is terribly stained from age as an example. The foyer does not present well. Other than that, the food made up for it!

Outstanding food in a beautiful classic hotel. The salad was awesome and the bourbon salmon was so great! Such a fine dining experience- thank you!

The food was delicious, the service was excellent. My ticket said my server's name was Samantha. She was professional, attentive, friendly and kind.Parking: There are two lots near the restaurant including the Holiday Inn parking lot. Street parking all around the restaurant is free and after 10pm there is valet.

For dinner... our appetizer was Crawfish Bread & entrees were the Catfish Jenkins with blackened catfish, side of sweet potatoes, & Red Beans & Rice with fried catfish & side of Crawfish Mac & Cheese.Crawfish Bread: very good, super cheesy, slightly soggy.Catfish Jenkins : delicious, but order the fish fried, because the blackened is bland. We plan to order this again.Sweet Potatoes: amazing!!!Beans & Rice: also delicious, but different than what we expected; smokey, subtle flavor. We do recommend this.Crawfish Mac: we wished it was listed as an entree!Dessert: both the Strawberry Cheesecake & Banana Bread Pudding were excellent!! 10/10 HIGHLY recommend. I will likely be back just for dessert!Brunch was...Shrimp & Grits: fabulous; the gouda & creamy sauce MADE this dish; if you need NO shell, request the tails off! Otherwise, tails are on.Sunnyside up eggs, Sausage, Biscuit, & Hashbrown patties: eggs were good, as were potatoes, sausage was bland & greasy.Sweet tea is what you expect for good tea!Peaceful, enjoyable environment. History all over the building. At the front desk of restaurant, ask for Molly! She was so attentive at dinner. We were very impressed with her service.

Delicious food, fabulous service and the location can't be beat. Our table had Bloody Marys, chargrilled oysters , crabcakes, duck berry salad, fried green tomato salad, gumbo, and some of the best beignets you will ever taste. Extra special staff including Gloria .

The food is excellent. We have eaten here a couple times now. I have yet to have something that wasn’t very good. The pork ribeye is incredible. I highly recommend the Bentley room.

This restaurant hits the mark for a tasty Louisiana brunch each time! Some of my favorites are the blueberry pancakes, the Gouda grits, Cajun egg Benedict, and the shrimp and pecan crepes. I don't know how the kitchen gets it right each time but they never disappoint and the servers are always so accommodating.

We had the pleasure of visiting 2 yrs ago. And Hotel Bentley is still on my mind to go back. I LOVE LIVE MUSIC while eating. Great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place.

Service is usually decent. Food is ok, would be better if they weren’t ALWAYS out of something. Definitely needs new decor. Furniture is Very outdated and worn. We just don’t have many “fine dining” options in Cenla so it has to do.

Ordered a bacon burger medium rare; it came back well done, and the bacon taste like bacon jerky. Can’t afford to use real bacon?

Stopped here for a late dinner while staying in Alexandria. It was one of the best meals we've had. My husband had the duck which was superb and the southern green beans were amazing. I highly recommend the grilled fish with crawfish etouffee.

Food was good, good service, would eat here again. Ambiance is casual dining. Historic hotel unstairs.

First, I LOVE my water. I assumed such a historic place would invest in a water filter, but they do not. The water is definitely city water and it comes through in their Arnold Palmer. YUCK!! We decided to order the Crab Cakes and Fried Green Tomato apps so we would have room for the desserts. The appetizers were great. Fried to perfection with similar sauces. The beignets were flaky and reminded me of Cafe DuMonde in New Orleans. My husband liked Chocolate Bread Pudding but would have preferred if it was warm. The service was terrific and the music my favorite-60sand 70s with soft lighting. I'd give it a 3.5.
