“Excellent place , clean , good service and food was great , had shrimp and fish combo with slaw and pinto soup, it right off interstate and blows the fast food joints away . Fish and shrimp cooked perfectly, but the pinto beans was the star here tasted like my moms . If your traveling from Shreveport on 20 to Monroe you gotta try this place , job well done guys”

“Me and the wife passing through stopped in last night and oh boy..... I don't have the words in my small vocabulary to convey to you how gotdamn good this food was. I've eaten at many fish joints across the country but this one was special. It was like Jesus himself prepared it but it wasn't Jesus it was a good looking older lady with a fatty. “If you are rolling through Acadia, I recommend making a stop here! Everyone in our group enjoyed our meal, and we ordered across the menu. I had the chicken parm, and it was great. The chicken was done perfect, and the noodles had a great texture. The sauce was phenomenal! Great service also! Glad we made the stop on the way to the highest point of Louisiana, Driskill Mountain.”

We thought it would take a few minutes but to our surprise the food came fast. It was delicious, only thing is the salsa just about tastes like jar salsa . “The staff was SO nice here! We were visiting from out of town, and the lady who took my order was superb! She alerted me on a deal that I had no clue about. The lady at the window telling me about my food was nice, and the lady that delivered the food to my car was super nice!!! The food was hot and fresh, and my order was accurate. It allowed for a smooth ride home, as we had about 3 more hours to go. With their bellies full and hearts satisfied, my kids fell asleep, and I was able to coast us on home!”

“What a wonderful hidden gem this is. We've lived in the area for 42 years and just learned of this place a couple of weeks ago. Open for breakfast and lunch, this is the real authentic country diner/de facto community center for the Lake Claiborne area. Great country style food, reasonable prices, and a relaxed everybody-knows-everybody atmosphere made for a delightful morning get-away breakfast. Really enjoyed it!”

We love Mexican foods and are particular about how it tastes. We’re all about fresh ingredients, variety, and presentation and Casa Michoacána was on point!!
