Walking distance from the downtown hotels. Perfect spot for an after work drink or quick grub. Awesome place to watch sports with plenty of tvs and outdoor seating. Philly egg rolls were delicious and burger was so so. Fries were great. All in all cool vibe nice staff and service. Definitely recommend.

Never thought to visit this place but Sunday morning we were looking for a brunch spot that wasn't a 30+ minute wait and found the Bengal Tap Room. Some would say it is just a bar but the food is really, really good. The hangover fries are incredible! This is the kind of place where all types of people can mingle without prejudice. No uncomfortable looks from others or unpleasant situations. Just a nice "live and let live" kind of place. Excellent for a quiet Sunday brunch.

We stopped in for dinner and were not disappointed! I got the Cajun French Dip and my husband the Burger special. Both very good and service was great! Had a few drinks as well.. would recommend stopping if your in the area!

I came here while in Baton Rouge for business and they over charged me. My tab was $12 and I tipped $2 but they charged me $34 instead of $14. I called to ask for a refund and they were not eager to help. The bartender said a manager would have to call me back but they never did. On top of all that the bartender who served my group wasn't friendly. There are alot of great bars in BR and I would recommend checking those out over this.

Had a great time here over the weekend. Great bar atmosphere with lot's of sports television entertainment. Several areas to sit around the bar and near the back. I believe there is a pool table in the front if you're able to get in line to play. Very lively atmosphere at night had a good time with friends.We only had drinks there, we didn't try the food at that time as we had already previously ate dinner.

This is just for the service… the guy at the door was sitting there on his phone. Asked for our IDs without greeting, looking up from his phone, and a dismissive tone. I asked a question and he kept his tone and asked to see ID. We had our IDs but didn’t want to patronize the restaurant because of how rude he was. On our way back to our hotel we watched a white couple go in, they didn’t show ID. Then I saw a black couple come up to ask him a question. They had to say hello three times for him to look up from his phone and give them the same dismissive attitude he gave us. I’m glad I didn’t patronize this restaurant.
