I always get the fried chicken, but the last 3 visits it's been over cooked and dry, my mouth used to water at the thought of it now I compare it to gas station chicken. Also they force you to get the fries with the chicken now and don't allow substitution. You would think for $17 for 4 pieces of chicken they would at least let you choose the side. A whole chicken at Walmart is about 6 bucks, at such a premium come on management! Sadly I won't be going back as my mouth quickly dries up when I bite into their brest. I'll miss the chocolate cake as it still is the king of cakes in town(outback has a close second).

I ordered door dash at work today and I couldn't even eat my crab cake.. Literally six pieces of shell with each bite before I just tossed it. Super underwhelming lunch. Sad for the cost. Haven't been here in years and unfortunately today solidified why I won't return. Very sad about my expensive

Service was excellent and very responsive, but I can't give more than the average number of stars because the food was... well average. The exception here is the cheesecake. The cheesecake was superb. Definitely come for the cheesecake

They had gnats flying over the table. The server was rude and in a hurry. Didn’t even check on us. Asked several of times for refill water. He did bring it when he brought the check. If I have to choose, I won’t come back. But hey my friends are drunks and they love until crash and burn.

The Kitchen Staff is always on point. Food is always fresh and hot! The bartender is excellent. She's great every time. The wait staff always friendly and warm. We drive from New Orleans to Baton Rouge regularly to visit this location. Always A Pleasure!

We visited the restaurant for my daughter's 20th birthday. Everything was great and our server was amazing.

My wife and I stopped by around 3pm and took a table in the bar area. Our server came right away and was very nice and we both ordered a drink. About 5-10 minutes later we orders our food and my salad came out the a few minutes later and then the wife’s food was served but the French onion soup I ordered did not come out until my wife had finished her meal but in the meantime while eating and talking there was a large black woman at the bar drinking with another woman and she turned around and looked at me and crawled up on a bar stool and Leaned across the bar with her Champaign and starting posing while her friend d took pictures. She was sticking her a$$ out directly at my wife while up on her knees on the barstool and when my wife turned her head the woman’s very large rear was about 2 feet from her face. I finally recieved my soup which I did not finish because we were being made to feel very uncomfortable as this woman appeared to be friends with some of the staff because I could over hear this woman talking to one of the staff and saying something like “see dat white man he was looking at me” and they were laughing and looking our way out the side so I told my wife we were leaving as I felt that they were trying to be antagonistic at this point and we were not there looking for trouble so we paid our bill and left without finishing our food. I did call and report this to the manager and she said she was going to pull the camera footage.I will never go back to this restaurant and do not recommend it because of the hostile situation we were put in and the staff there allowed this and did nothing and seemed to know this person and acted as if this was normal.
