Great place for dinner. Menu options were great, food was delicious and service was fantastic. It was not very busy during a weeknight so we didn't even have to wait!

Ok so 11 months later I decided to give them another try. Unfortunately, not much has changed. If you want to pay a high price for low quality food then this is the place for you. I hate when establishments upgrade the building but downgrade the food! Nothing stays the same. Rocket shrimp-not the same. Burger-not the same. Crickle Fries-replaced with waffle fries. Pastas-not the same. Poboys-not the same. Bread Pudding-DEFINITELY NOT THE SAME!!! Even the drinks were watered down. Where is the original owner/cook, his sister, and her husband...bring them back please! The only constant is the waitress with the hats and quirky jewelry. She is the sweetest and always has a zen quality to her.

Fresh, very tasty food; fantastic, friendly service. We had a great experience. Make sure you get the bread pudding. I'd drink a whole bowl of that carmel sauce they use, it's incredible! The space is clearly newly renovated, and I'd only recommend to them to lean into a cozier atmosphere: use some lamps instead of the cold overhead lighting -- the high ceilings with the current lighting feels like eating in a cafeteria. Put in some plants, etc. But that's the only thing I'd say could improve the experience. Overall it was great.

My mom and I tried it for the first time during lunch. The food wasn't bad. I was disappointed with the crawfish beignets on the Trio. Our server wasn't as attentive as I would have liked. The shrimp poboy was delicious. The gumbo was also delicious. There are other dishes I want to try.

This was the first time we've eaten there since their remodel- it's beautiful! The ambiance is perfect for relaxed meal. The food was outstanding- flavorful, good sized portions and tastefully presented. We especially enjoyed the rocketshrimp and crawfish beignets. Our serve, Austin M was very efficient, attentive and personable. With such a fabulous variety of choices and great service- not to mention GREAT prices, we will definitely be back.Thanks Jasmine on the Bayou for a wonderful evening!

The food was so delicious. My favorite side was the sweet potato casserole. This was on Saturday night. Our waiter was very polite and professional. He made sure to check in on us throughout the night , and even recommended their bread pudding for dessert. Needless to say , our tummies were satisfied and hearts delighted. The remodel there is so nice and open.

Food was Delicious… Rocket Shrimp was BOMB, garlic bread lacking tho, I see the garlic but the taste aint’ tasting!! You can like just give me a regular roll/slice of bread if that’s the offer!!! Corn & Crab bisque wonderful! House salad… greaaaat, hubby said he’ll drink that ranch dressing!Even the coke was BOMB…Seafood platter is overpriced for a BED OF WAFFLE FRIES, WITH 4 PIECES OF FISH NUGGETS… the shrimp amount was good and the oysters but the fish was unreal. I feel totally ripped off but… the taste was great, wouldn’t re-order only due to it being pricey. Also, the menu price says $25.95 but my ticket was $27.95 so that’s ya tip and because the service lacked attentiveness. I see that their speed of service is great but was not with our waiter. He forgot our drinks, our food took long and the other waiter guests food came out before ours. Maybe it was just our waiter. Willing to try again, because the food is good and other waiters performance is at a 5 star level to me.Hope this helps and that owner appreciates this honest advice. I see even greater potential for this company and them expanding. God bless this business!OH forgot one more thing, sweet potato casserole so good!
The restaurant itself was very clean, the staff was great and the food was fanominal. I felt that the server we had was the best server I have ever come across and I have traveled from the west coast to the east coast. She was well informed, very professional, and courteous, not once did anyone at our table have to look for her as she stayed on the ball with everything yet she never interrupted a conversation or made anyone feel crowded. We had a birthday with a party of 8. Our table was already set up and ready when we arrived. We were seated immediately and were never rushed to order or to leave. The food was delicious, all appetizers, drinks and meals were all correct the first time around and there was no confusion when placing the orders a d came to the table within just a short time. I am extremely picky when it comes to service and my food and I found no faults, the experience was great, a 5 star all the way around. And the server, I don't remember her name but she wore an a fadora with such style. If you are ever in Baton Rouge this is definately a place to try out, you will definately be pleased and if you see a server there with a fedora on, that's the server to ask for. I'm sure the others are great too but I have only been once and she was our server.
