Saturday night dinner at Juban's. We were seated to the right, near the bar. We hadn't sat in this area before, and we really liked it. It's cozy, like a little speakeasy. The servers were excellent: engaging and attentive. We started with wine and the crab claw lollipops and bread service. The wine list is pretty good, and we both found something we liked. The appetizers were excellent. The crab claw dish was basically a crab beignet with a crab claw in the middle, and was delicious. The bread was a sourdough-like consistency, with a nice crust. There were four different spreads, and we each found a favorite. For entrees, she had the daily catch with a side of spinach, and I had the warm crawfish salad. They were both tasty, and we even shared each other's. We've always considered Juban's to be one of the better restaurants in Baton Rouge, but this trip put them in the top echelon. Great meal!

Amazing ambiance, food and service. Alex was amazing and created a phenomenal experience for me and my wife's anniversary. Will be back again! The prime steak and redfish was perfectly cooked. Amazing cocktails, appetizers and full course. Highly recommended and the Chef's are amazing.

We went to Juban's to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday. The service was excellent. We were seated in the LSU room as requested and the décor was a hit with our LSU student. The wait staff greeted her with a Happy Birthday message. Later in the meal she was given chocolate truffles along with a card signed by all of the wait staff. That was such a nice touch and she was impressed; we all were. Our Lollipop Crab appetizer was wonderful, along with our meals: Hallelujah Crab, Ora King Salmon, the filet, and Chicken Clemenceau. For dessert we had a hit and a miss! While Juban's take on banana's foster was accompanied by a touch of tangy citrus that was unexpected but enjoyable, the cheesecake left a lot to be desired. Being one of our daughter's favorite desserts, she ordered it and almost spit out her first and only bite. The rest of the family then tasted in curiosity to see what could possibly be so wrong with something as basic as cheesecake. What wasn't wrong?! The taste was just plain odd and it's difficult to pinpoint the flavor, but it definitely needed more sweetness. It was tart and cheesy, but not the taste of cream cheese. I felt like a detected a smokiness such as from smoked cheese which is not something desirable in a cheesecake in our shared opinion. The texture was firmer, denser, than any cheesecake I've ever had and didn't melt in your mouth like most. Additionally it had been torched on top, which was odd. Taking a bite with the berry sauce did little to effect or better the flavor enough to make it palatable. Most disappointing was that this was the chosen dessert for the honoree of the night, and she was disappointed. It was not the ideal way to end the evening. Having said that, overall we had a great experience and Juban's will definitely stay on our list for future celebrations / special occasions.

We attended jazz brunch yesterday and had a fabulous time . I enjoy the open and decorative dining experience at Juban's every time I'm there . The food was delicious and well prepared.
The restaurant was honestly beautiful and the service was high quality. Everyone there was very helpful. Our food was underwhelming though. Got the bread and the three butters we tried were all disappointing. Boudin dip was ok but nothing special. Same goes for our entrees. We got the Hallelujah crab and the duck. Both were decent but left a lot to be desired. My duck was over cooked and wasn't super flavorful. I wanted more for the price if I'm being honest.
Chris and Lindsey were my servers for a nice dinner with friends. He was absolutely excellent and perfectly executed the service. The drinks were great and the salmon is superb! Would recommend Jubans to anyone looking for a nice occasion dinner!

The evening of event Rhett "the captain" along with Carter, and Conner provided exceptional service! Our Mom, family along with all of the guests enjoyed the celebration, atmosphere, and superb dinner!

I took a very good client and his wife to dinner at Juban's. This was their first time dining at Juban's. Our server, Lauren, was very attentive and the wait staff was excellent in the serving of our various appetizers, soups, salads, and main entrees. A wonderful menu of cocktails and wine were also enjoyed. The food was fabulous; as always, I opted for the Hallelujah Crab which is one of Juban's signature dishes. As always, it was excellent. My client and his wife were very impressed!
