Koi is always a rememberable Chinese restaurant providing yummy authentic Chinese food. It is quite near the LSU campus so very walkable for a lunch/dinner if you are at LSU. Sadly though it was closed early this year where I heard the rumor that the chief chef had retired and his son did not want to follow his father's footstep to become a terrific chef at Koi. I just finger crossed that one day there would be another sweet Chinese restaurant at the same location!

Never had sushi before and been addicted every since I tried it

We were given glasses of water that smelled like dirty mop water. I tipped my finger in it and it tasted bleachy. I told the server that our water smelled and tasted off. He said there was nothing wrong with it. Then he just looked at me and smiled. Horrifying experience.

Simply the best plated Chinese food in Baton Rouge. And the sushi is spectacular!

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but Koi has the best kung pao chicken in the world. Soooo good. I moved far away a decade ago, and I still try to come back to Koi anytime I’m in town. I’m always delighted to see the restaurant still open for business. Be warned it is spicy, but I love that. It is one of my top 5 restaurant dishes of all time (and I eat more in a month than most people do in a year!)

My lunch special rolls were cheap but they were hard to eat. They were like the 4th or 5th worst sushi I've had, I think I'd rather the on the geaux stuff from LSU. The rolling of it was so sloppy it fell apart and the seaweed was showing through the rice. The fish and the oil tasted old.

Ordered takeout a few times and they've always been lovely... ants climbing trees is always a must
Best sushi I've had in a while. I'll definitely be going back and with friends.

My friend and I called and got sushi ordered for pick up. It was my first time trying any sushi from this location. I got their Shrimp Tempera sushi, California Rolls, Sushi Eggrolls, and fried rice. It was pretty nice and Emmie was really efficient with her service and very sweet. I appreciated when she asked what kind of sauce I wanted. Their sweet and sour sauce was awesome. She gave a good quantity for decent pricing. We got 15% too y'all definitely should try going in to try their sushi

took my tinder date here, immediate judgements. No koi fish spotted, only a sad couple eating alone and an owner who told us to turn around..our kind isn't wanted here.
