Good food, fair prices, and great service

Family called ahead for seating, got in and seated immediately. Service was fair and decently visits to deliver rolls, drinks, etc. The steak however, I cannot even begin to guess what kind of meat we were served. Wife and I ordered 12 oz ribeyes. Her sides (Mac and cheese and loaded mashed potatoes) were served too cold. Mine (loaded baked potato and broccoli) were fine. Our steaks tasted the same. They were super tender (not in a good way, but tender like bologna). Meat had no real grain or texture to it. Seemed to be boiled, salted and some fake grill marks burned onto it. No taste except the salt. I think I’m going to be sick before the night is over. Will not be returning to this restaurant. Joplin MO.

Worst restaurant ever. Hostess kept walking by looking at us like she wanted to stab us, and denied it when I asked her about it. Steak had so much salt you could not eat it. Called the manager and it was a waste of time. Called a few more times and still a waste of time. What a joke.

Came in for a late lunch today.Rolls of course we fresh hot and delightful. My steak was just as I ask and my skewer vegetables were great. My steak tasted like a steak is suppose to taste. You know what I mean.Service was great, friendly and much appreciated. Will always come back. Thanks

Great service, mediocre food. The fried pickles weren't even crispy, the salad was drenched with dressing, and the seasoning on the steak was pretty aweful.

I have family members who like to eat here after church but I can't understand why. The service left a lot to be desired and some of the food also. Service: The server didn't bring out bread until after we had ordered main entrées and each time without butter. Our glasses sat completely empty while she passed by numerous times. I also sat for a little over five minutes for a medium rare New York strip while my family members devoured racks of ribs. Food: Bread was hot and fresh. The Cesar salad was limp and the dressing tasted like water with almost the same consistency. The grilled vegetables were tasty but it wasn't much at all. The NY strip had to be the worst steak I've ever had. The cut was bad and it was chewy even cooked Medium rare. My family seemed to enjoy their ribs and potatoes immensely though. Stick to those and not the steak and you may have a good time.

My rating is based on the service. Do yourself a favor... Stay away. This was my second visit to this Logan's location. They were not busy at all. The first time was OK (3 stars), but my visit this evening was horrible. I was dining alone, so I sat at the bar. Ordered a tall beer that came in a glass with a sharp broken rim. That did not bother me too much - apparently they don't have a lot of glassware. It happens. For my meal I ordered the prime rib. Even though the menu says they have it after 4pm on weekends, I was told that they were out of it. Ok, fine, that happens too. Ended up ordering the New York Strip, loaded baked potato, and a salad with ranch. No bread was offered (that happened during my last visit too, so maybe they have a no bread at the bar ruke..? Who knows?). The first course arrived with someone who was holding the steak and calling my name from the other side of the bar. I raised my hand and was the. served. I did not get any utensils and could not make eye contact with the bartender, so I had to get up to get a roll-up myself. The steak was cooked PERFECTLY. Thank you kitchen! The rest of the staff are f'n up your good work. My salad never arrived. I would have told the bartender but I was never asked about my meal. I was trying though... My glass was empty the entire time I ate - I was finally asked if I wanted another after I finished eating. What a crappy meal. I usually like Logan's Roadhouses because of the food and atmosphere - so much more laid back than other places. I'm a business traveler, so for the rest of my stay in Baton Rouge I'll be eating next door at J Alexander's. Maybe I'll try Logan's again in another city.

This restaurant deserves better rating.. My wife and I went there for our anniversary dinner celebration and it was a win situation! She loved it and I was quite surprised of their good food! I posted some pictures to prove it.

Food usually pretty good. Today wife had burger and fries. I had the Logan. Server was nice. Got caught talking to and older couple that really wanted her attention. Drinks went dry waiting and they forgot my salad that they brought after my wife flagged down another server. We usually like it here.

At my last visit, I was shown to a table and sat for nearly 30 minutes without anyone coming up to say hi, or ask for my drink order. It wasn't very busy, and there appeared to be more than enough staff. I walked out and went to Pluckers instead.

Two stars only because my waitress worked hard. Dirty table , cucumbers in the salad were bad. Place is really dirty and run down supposed to be rustic not dirty. The staff really worked hard. They need to give them a better place to serve people and better quality. Seems to be a problem all the Logan's locally.

Horrible experience. My husband ordered the prime rib, to be told they were out. He then ordered the 20 oz bone in ribeye. They were out of that, as well. The table next to us ordered ribs, and you guessed it-they were out as well. I ordered the 6 oz ribeye. While the steaks were well seasoned and well cooked, the sautéed mushrooms I ordered were so salty that they were almost inedible. The baked potato had a 30 minute wait, so my husband was given loaded mashed potatoes instead. My two year olds meal, grilled chicken and broccoli, didn't come out until after the adults were done eating. Again, her broccoli was so salty it was almost inedible. Drinks were not refilled in a timely fashion and our waitress did not check on us that often. Both my husband and I agreed that we will not be returning to this establishment.

So many things wrong with this restaurant. My boyfriend and I ordered a corndog for our child and the wiener was freezing cold. The manager was hardly apologetic but returned it to the kitchen to have another one made. I ordered ribs and brisket and somehow even though it's one of the things they are known for (as it's written along side steaks and spirits on the front of the menu) the ribs were terrible. The brisket tasted like ham... My boyfriend ordered grilled shrimp and a ribeye. He had to send the shrimp back because there was hair on them. The shrimp were white and brown and looked raw. Overall taste of the food was mediocre. As a manager/server I would have at least have offered a complimentary dessert or comped something on our meal for all the trouble. Definitely not somewhere I'd go back to. Our server was pretty good though. That's about the only good thing I have to say.

Will probably never go back again. Dined there last night. The service was terrible. The utensils and plates that they brought our food out on did not look clean. The food did not taste fresh. Just an overall bad experience.
