The drinks and bartenders were great. But they've changed it up and the atmosphere has taken a dive. Plus they close whenever they want to, usually by 10:15pm on the weekend if you're lucky.

I travel all over the US and visit as many true Tiki Bars that I can, so I was pleased to see Lotus Lounge open in Baton Rouge as I visit here quite often. There are no signs to this bar and is located inside of an Asian restaurant. The Pros: The place is beautiful. It's well decorated and has beautiful Tiki artwork. The drinks that I had were good. Not great, just good. The bartenders were great and spent time talking to you when they were not busy. The Cons: The music was not Tik. I love the music and most of the songs are on my workout playlist, but again, not Tiki. One of the drinks were way off from the original recipe. Maybe it's their twist, but it did not say that. Would I go again? Sure. I may want to try again on Tiki Tuesday. 3/25/23 Update Went for the LA Tiki Fest, and the drinks were still good.

Cozy little bar. Was seated in the VIP booth. It was great!

Great new tiki lounge in Baton Rouge! Great place to hangout with friends, or have a more upbeat date night. The drinks are strong, but delicious. Bartenders are super fun and interactive, too, if you decide to sit at the bar! Appreciate them being open to chatting, even if it’s busy. There are also PURSE hooks at the bar. Any purse carrier knows how amazing that is. Food wise, you can still order food off the Soji menu in here, which is nice if you want some light bites outside of the actual restaurant. DJ has been great any time they play! Overall, great experience and great addition to BR.

Great tiki drinks. One of the best painkillers I've had.
