$8.50 for a small, tasteless, average cheeseburger doesn’t cut it at all. Atmosphere and service below average.

Was only down here for about a week and a half on business, this place has made me want to stay longer.THE restaurant to go to if you find yourself in Baton Rouge. Don’t bother with Five Guys as long as Dearman’s Diner is around.

The customer service was good even with a packed house. Several tables were dirty, but when time allowed, they did clean them up. The waitress was very polite & helpful. Now, the food, on the other hand, wasn't seasoned well. The buns were bigger than the patty & the Buns overpower the taste of the burger & not in a good way. Upon leaving, I noticed several plates that were left on tables with pieces of the bun (so I felt I wasn't alone). Also, the fries pictured were supposed to be a large fry, which I felt wasn't. For the total on the ticket, it could have been worth the $42.00.Parking: Parking is available directly in front of the restaurant.

Made a pickup order that got mixed up with someone named David. Place was practically empty. The owner is always a no show Boss. There's no management anymore. As for the food , the fries were soggy ? my hamburger had a pile of 5-6 pickles stacked in the middle like you would find at McDonald's ??

My wife and I have been living in Baton Rouge for 2.5 years now. We've eaten burgers from alot of the local spots. Dearman's burger is quite possibly the Best Burger in town in my opinion. The natural cut fries are served crispy and hot. The old diner esthetic is a welcoming and pleasant experience. My wife enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich with sweet potato fries. The chicken salad is very mayo forward but is very good. 10/10 will return soon and often.
