We had 3 different paneed fish dinners, and they were all spectacular. It's a little bit louder than we prefer, but the food and service make it a great experience!

What a treat. We had a convention and training in Houston and wound up here at lunch. It was excellent. Going to the bar and talk to Caleb. He did an excellent job even ordering up all the different sauces that the house made so we could choose our favorite. A great restaurant with excellent servers

I've heard that Parrain's has the best gumbo in Baton Rouge, so of course I had to come and try it out. It did not disappoint! Their gumbo was very flavorful and had a very generous seafood portion size. The catfish was an absolute treat--the breading was light in the way that you still can appreciate the taste of the catfish. I would absolutely recommend both!

Christian was our waiter. He was very people friendly, patient, and kind with a pleasant smile! He recommended the boudin egg rolls, and they were awesome! Everything was great!
I had a seafood platter the fried fish was salty the french fries was soggy the fried shrimp was only 4 for a $25 meal... This was a pickup order.. so I did not notice how bad the food was until I got home and begin eating itI never had this problem before I have been eating there for years never any problems.
