Great neighborhood bar. Cold beer. Pool tables. Intermittent live entertainment(except for the locals who drink there- that's entertaining every night) Great homemeade burgers on Monday nights. Great owner who cares about his business AND the patrons who keep his business successful.

This is a local quirky place with reliable musical acts, some much better than others (can be irritating when you've dropped $20 on two covers). The bar is now cash-only and sometimes there's only one bartender. Always friendly. If you can drop by when there's a lively band, it's a gem of Baton Rouge.Parking: If lot is full you can park across the street

Hours are incorrect

Went about 2 months ago. Never been a fan but some friends from out of town wanted to try. Arrived about 11:40 pm to find there was a $10 cover per. I hate cover charges, especially $10 for an unknown garage band. Some lady just screaming into the microphone. Terrible. Then to top it off they stopped playing before midnight. So, $50 in cover for about 15 minutes of painful garbage. Went out to the doorman demanding a refund. Nope! Only accept cash so can't dispute it. Also bartender lady was rude also when complaining about the highly unethical cover charge. Told her we would leave bad reviews. She said she highly recommended that we do. Ok, so now no tip for you and we're out never to return again. I knew better, but visitors did not. Now they know to avoid as well.
