I'll never shop here again. Aside from the convenience of their location I have nothing nice to say about this store. There's a neighborhood Walmart 200 yards further down the road with better food and prices, just get over Rouse's.

I'm not exactly sure what Rouses market is, but I don't think I've ever been there. It's odd to me that it's not Rouse's because it seems like Rouse would be a name. But maybe it is grammatically correct because the name ends in an "e". Rouses. Rouse's. Rousees. Rouseses. Idfk.

Terrible customer service in the catering department. They are extremely unprofessional and do not know how to properly communicate what needs to be done in order for catering to be completed. I've used others Rouses' for catering and never any issues but this Rouses doesn't seem to have it together or they just don't care.

First time going. Grabbed the fried chicken straight away, walked the store, got a few more items. Then had an internal discussion, came back for more chicken and they had already put more out.I should have got three plates worth.That aside, the store had a nice decor. Had I stayed longer I might have bought more than a nights dinner for two.

I shop here pretty frequently but today I had really great service. I love cooking but can’t chop onions because if I’m even in a room while someone is chopping onions I cry so much I can’t see. I needed just plain prechopped onions (no peppers added in) because my friend from Tennessee is visiting and he’s allergic to peppers. I saw a worker with glasses and long braids and asked her if they had any precut onions. She said they didn’t and she didn’t work in produce but would get someone who could me, so she got a man with brown hair and a green jacket to come over. He had me pick out onions that he then went and cut up and packed for me. These two workers were awesome! I work retail too and I know the holiday time can be really stressful so I really appreciate them going out their way to help me like that!!

I like this store a lot. My only issue is SOME of the cashiers absolutely do not care how they handle your groceries. They will throw them into the bag and bag things together so some items get crushed. I've had this happen a few times now. Groceries are too expensive and it's very disrespectful. I'd rather bag them myself if that's going to be the case. Cashiers need to be trained to be more careful and considerate with people's groceries.

PRO TIP just don’t buy alcohol or CBD here. The Chevron a couple blocks away sells everything this Rouses does for cheaper. I used to buy here anyway just cos I liked the people who worked here but here’s what changed my mind….I go here every single week to buy 1-2 packs of THC seltzer and some alcohol (for MYSELF…I am 23 damn years old) and recently my younger (19yo) roommate (who literally doesn’t drink at all ever) has been asking to tag along with me to run errands just to spent quality time together. Never once did they ever ID both of us in the past but today the grumpy cashier with green hair refused to sell me any of my alcohol or seltzer because my roommate was with me. I was NOT AT ALL buying alcohol for her, it was 100% for me (which I explained to him) and it was honestly really humiliating to be made to feel like I was buying it for her. I just felt like I was being treated like a criminal, and it’s a bummer I won’t be able to let her tag along with me anymore.Like, did I turn 21 for nothing? Do you refuse to sell wine to a mom because she’s with her 5 year old? There’s no way you enforce this rule equally so obviously y’all thought I seemed suspicious which is just offensive. It’s such a dumb rule….how can you refuse to sell people because you think they’re breaking a law you have zero evidence they’re breaking? Do y’all hate money?

If I could give one star I would. Lines are so long while staff walks around doing nothing even manager. No self checkout and no express lines. You wait in line til the middle of produce and all 3 lines have about 10 people. Green hair Employees and all others could care less.

Everything is wonderful ... Except a few things , the produce had a lot of empty areas , prices missing and going rotten produce .. the employees are chatty to each other and not paying attention to customers behind them . And empty looking shelves . the cashier girl was not friendly. Black girl with no eye contact or communication. Non speaking no hello or thank you .. we will be sure to avoid these people and areas till things look better .
