I recently dined at Saltgrass Steak House and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. While the ambiance and service were pleasant, the quality of the food left much to be desired.Firstly, I ordered the sweet potato as a side dish, but it was disappointing. The sweet potato lacked flavor and was overcooked, resulting in a mushy texture that was unappetizing.Additionally, the T-bone steak I ordered had a significant amount of fat around it. While some marbling is expected in a T-bone steak, the excess fat detracted from the overall enjoyment of the meal.Furthermore, the blue cheese and ranch dressing served with the meal were watered down, lacking the rich and creamy consistency expected from such dressings. This greatly affected the flavor of the accompanying salad and detracted from the overall dining experience.Overall, while Saltgrass Steak House offers a pleasant atmosphere and attentive service, the quality of the food, particularly the sweet potato, T-bone steak, and dressings, left much to be desired. I hope the restaurant can address these issues to ensure a more satisfying dining experience for future patrons.

Went the the Saltgrass on south Acadian in baton rouge. Parking was a breeze, even during the rush hour. As we walked in we were greeted by a lovely pair of girls. We were asked our seating preferences and shortly after seated in our seats. The hostice seated us, told us our waiters name. She went ahead and started our drink order. After a short wait, our waiter came back with our drink order and went over the menu and the days special. After taking the time to make sure we understand the menu he gave us time to get our order together. Didn't rush us like some places do. We placed our order for appetizers and main course dishes he placed our order. The timing was perfect. Appetizers came out first. The food was beautifully displayed, hot and excellent. Salads showed up next at the perfect time. The salads were perfect. Our drinks never were empty and never had to ask for a refill. Just as salads were finished our main course found their way to the table. Presentation was amazing, sizzling plates and perfectly cooked medium rare steak sat in front of me. The seasoning was on point, the frys were cooked perfectly and the broccoli was so fresh. Not being able to save room for dessert I got a slice of cheese cake to go along with the leftovers. We all left full, completely satisfied and thankful for the wonderful experience we had. I give everything about the night 5 stars and recommend it to everyone I know. You will not be disappointed trust me.

We decided to stop in for lunch due to a change of plans for dinner. Highly recommend! The service by the bartender was quick and prompt. The food did take some time to get out and we were there for almost 2 hours with splitting an entree and each having 3 large beers. The steak was phenomenal and worth the price! Recommend the crab cakes for an app - we could have ordered another round of these! Staff was very friendly. We will be back!
Visiting from out of town. Food filling, and I really liked the team work I saw. Like they were busy but others assisted the server which is great because we didn't want to wait forever to be served. Everyone was friendly, patient, and kind. No birthday song with ice cream though.

Stopped in here today during my travels and had an early dinner. Sat at the bar and had a friendly greeting by the bartender ERIC. I like sitting at the bar when I eat alone. ERIC was super friendly, professional, and very efficient. I ordered the Range Rattlers for appetizer (jumbo shrimp and peppers) super delicious. I also ordered the grilled chicken salad, super delicious. ERIC made sure my tea was full at all times and communicated about my order being ready soon. ERIC did a fantastic job and service was perfect. Inside is super clean and quite. SADIE took over as my server and closed me out... SADIE was super friendly with a beautiful smile... excellent service by both and the food was delicious. Highly recommend
