Walked over to grab some breakfast. Online shows to be open, not a light on in sight. Signs are down and nothing on the building to even show where iHop should be. Clearly this location is closed for business. Need to update website to reflect these changes.

Entirely understaffed with one hostess working the front desk and waitressing the tables. Party was too big to be seated due to this. Did not get to enjoy any pancakes.

Food was mediocre. I would rather go to Waffle House because their food tastes better. Our server was nice. Biggest issue was 2 baby cockroaches were crawling around our table. Right by the dirty/rusty salt and pepper shaker. Will not be going back.

Upon entering hostess says it'll be 10 mins kitchen is backed up wouldn't even seat us when more then half of the restaurant was empty I asked after 15 mins well can we atleast be seated hostest replys the don't want to seat us although no one was in there because they don't want the kitchen getting

On entry the hostess was very negative borderline rude. Eight people waiting for tables and more than half the tables were empty. Once seated Ryan was great as our server. However listening to kitchen staff argue and cursing each other wasn’t what we should have been listening to. Food wasn’t correct when it came. Both of us only ate a few bites. We paid up and left.

Food was warm at best. Scrambled eggs was watery for some reason. Asked to substitute pancakes for toast and still got pancakes....and then brought the toast. And wasn't but maybe 3 customers including myself and kids...wonder why? And the whole time waiting on the food and eating since there wasn't any customers, I was able to listen to waitress and other employees in the having their conversation. Maybe a different IHOP, but won't go back to this one.
I called ahead and was told there was no wait time. I never got a chance to be seated. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was met with chaos. The hostess was arguing with a door dasher, and the waiting area was packed with angry customers. After the argument ended, the hostess started arguing with customers in the waiting area and then went to the kitchen. I overheard they were lowstaffed, and the kitchen was very behind, after 10 minutes and the hostess not coming back, I cut my losses and left with my party.

Had a small lunch here with coworkers. There were only 2 other tables and it was shift change so we had to wait a little while. The waitress was really nice, but my order got messed up. I had the strawberry-banana pancakes with regular strawberries on top (no puree) when I got them. It had the strawberry puree everywhere. She had them remake it, but when I got the new one, the pancakes had no Bananas in it. I ended up just eating it bc I didn't want to wait for another set of pancakes. Everyone else had a good meal. I will probably give it another try to see if maybe it was just a bad day.

Ate here about 30 minutes ago......took a long time to get seated even though the place was only half full. First off...the water tastes like pool water. Absolutely disgusting!!!! The staff are very unprofessional. BUT it starts from the top and trickles down to the bottom. We informed the "manager" NEFERTITI that everyone's food was cold, bacon tasted funny, hashbrowns were greasy BECAUSE they were cold. None of us finished our meal because it was gross. NEFERTITI had a very stank, nasty attitude!!!!!!!!!!!! She stated why did we wait until we were finished before saying something. FIRST OF ALL, had she asked our sever she would have known our meals were half eaten. A few bites maybe. Then she acted as if we wanted the meal for free or something. We just wanted to let them know our complaints so they can work on making their establishment better. Our server was great and made an otherwise awful experience tolerable. IHOP on the Boardwalk DO BETTER!!!!! NEFERTITI go back to customer service 101 and fix your attitude ma'am!!!!!! If your corporate office reads reviews PLEASE work on improving this location.
