I haven't been to China Wok in a while, thanks to the global shut-down. However, I'm happy to say that it was a great experience when I visited last week. I'm not blowing smoke when I say their Gen. Tsao's Chicken was one of the best I've ever had. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, just as it should be. Additionally, the pork fried rice was excellent! Sometimes, at various establishments, it's starchy and stuck together, but not the (flavorful, moist) rice at China Wok. The servings, too, are more than substantial. Finally, the chef left her post behind the counter to hold the door for me when I left. This tiny spot is a home run.

I ordered for the first time from here and my husband and I got two crispy chow mein dishes. What we got was 2 tubs of gravy/vegetables and a tiny satchel of fried wonton skins!!! When in the world did chow mein mean fried wonton skins and not noodles??? I am Chinese and this just blows me away. I even called and told them we had no noodles and they came back and brought more crispy wonton skins, so there was clearly no mistake. I will not be ordering from here again.

It's good food, always hot and the owners are super nice. They have an option to order online or by phone, just be aware that sometimes when you order online for future pick up it might get forgotten. They still make it but you just have to wait.

Not the best Chinese I've had, but it was ok.

Lousy excuse for Chinese food. If you have low standards you'll love it.

So this is my second year staying in Shreveport and I will be coming here at least once a year. I normally order food deliveries to the hotel that I'm staying in and all have been great when it came to my requests in the notes section...I tried this place for the first time and they didn't acknowledge my request in the notes despite the fact that I wouldn't have minded paying additional costs for the extra items requested...I had to go downstairs to ask the hotel staff for utensils despite that I asked this restaurant for them, and all they delivered was one set of chop sticks and one package of soy sauce, I didn't receive sauce for my egg rolls or soy sauce for my fried rice :(. I also requested sriracha sauce or hot chili paste and didn't even get that....the food was good but my gosh, they need to charge people for extra items requested so we don't have to go hunt down the items we need to enjoy the meal! Especially if y'all charging us a delivery charge to bring our food. Charge us extra! I'm going to try y'all again next year, and when I do, please acknowledge my request. I know y'all have plastic forks and hot sauce! And btw...I did tip y'all delivery person over 15% of the delivery charge!

Great affordable food!

The steamed rice, curry chicken and sesame chicken were fantastic! Used door dash to deliver as this restaurant does not have a driver. Highly recommend!

Everything here is good. My favorites are the sweet and sour pork and the sesame chicken. The Pupu platter is enough to feed 2-4. Never had any issues with my order. Online ordering is super convenient. Be prepared for a wait time, they prepare each order fresh.

Go for lunch now and again, good lunch special. I like the rice, beef teriyaki, boneless spareribs and the chicken fingers. Always good and always quick.

This is pretty decent Chinese for the price. The fried rice kind of sucked, it needed a lot of soy.. but the crab rangoons are delicious and the general sou chicken was pretty good! Overall not bad
