The combo platter with ribs, turkey and sausage was awesome. Great smoke, not oversmoked! Only 2 hours from home. We'll be back soon. And Pat Green was just a bonus!!

I've used Silver Star catering, for my fundraising event, for the past 5 years. Renee and her team are top-notch! Food is excellent, delivered hot and on-time, and return of equipment is a breeze. Thank you Renee and team!

Had a wonderful surprise finding this place next to the Truck Stop. Steak salad was absolutely delicious. The loaded baked potato with Smoked brisket did not disappoint. Excellent!

The food is so expensive , it has no smoke Tate at all. We did have a large group, but the waitress did not deliver what we had ordered . We asked go bbq sauce in the side , it was on the sandwich. We asked for no tomato's on the burgers , they put them I. There any way. For those prices, I should get my meal the way I ordered it. The waitress got a 20% tip just to bring food to the table. That's all she did . Nothing else her tip was well over $200. Now extra water or nothing. Then the tickets were incorrect . The food looked good , but I was not pleased with taste. The chicken wings reminded me of frozen wings , Liz of fat on them. The jalapeño poppers poppers were over cooked. The onion straws were greasy!! It was crowded and they need to play some music .

Tonight we went for dinner out and wanted BBQ. Decided to drive to Bossier to SilverStar. It has traditionally been hit or miss, but tonight was definitely a miss! Waitress was was Mariah. She was not attentive at all. I ordered my meal with no pickle and it came with pickle. Salads came after the meal not before! Why can't you just pay attention to what you customers say and want! Seems simple but apparently it's not a priority! Probably won't be back!

Silver Star Smokehouse is always a great experience. The food is excellent, every time. The service is almost always with a smile. There's plenty of parking, and sometimes there's a little wait, but it's not too bad most of the time. They have the best filet in the area, in my opinion, but you're going to pay for it. It's a little bit pricey, but I will say it's always worth every penny. Great experience and a great time, every time I eat here! I will definitely continue to frequent this place for many years to come.Parking: There is plenty of parking, but when busy, it might involve a short walk.Wheelchair accessibility: Double front doors.

Fantastic bar and grill in the Ark-La-Tex area. The ambiance is fantastic and totally on point for the area. Decorations are very Texan and appropriate for the setting. The outdoor space is incredible and I can wait to catch a few shows here. The servers were excellent, helpful suggestions, quick service, and very friendly. Really nice place and I will definitely be back.

The eating area immediately to your right when you walk past the hostess desk just felt a little claustrophobic and combining that with youngsters running around it just made for a constant bumping of your chair. Even removing the party with kids, that specific eating area just felt like I was sitting too close to the people around me. But all of the above is really irrelevant because you can't tell the children of others to sit down, the architecture of the building is exactly how the Boss Man/Lady wants it (it is designed wonderfully) and you and I are here for the food. The sliced brisket was tender and delicious. The sauce was also tasty and proportionate. I do walk away feeling like they could've put more brisket on the plate for the price but the slices were fairly thick. The side pickle was a great crunch. Ordering a side salad carried a higher price point but it was one of the better side salads I've ordered from a restaurant...the balsamic dressing was great. The green beans and broccoli were standard, but fresh. I asked for a side of jalapeño peppers and I was brought out these type of tasty peppers that the waitress could not identify to me. Service started off kinda down but my waitress was ok overall...she did her job. The food being worth the price is truly up to you, but I am satisfied with the brisket itself. I'm not sure if I'm super eager to come back though. Silver Star is lacking some Value...and Walmart would be Greatly disappointed.
