Taqueria Aguirre offers dine in or take out and has a drive-through window. Their menu has most Mexican antojitos, from tacos, enchiladas, tostadas, Chile rellenos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, chilaquiles, flautas, mole, soups (caldo), and more. It is easy to find on Airline Drive just a couple blocks north of Interstate 20.The building clearly used to be something else, but has been repurposed and decorated with bright colors typical of Mexican culture. Everything I saw was clean. There was some music playing, but not too loud as to hinder conversation. There were booths and some tables, room enough for small groups or family gatherings.I stopped in for lunch and ordered the chicken tostadas. Order at the counter and take a seat. They were made quickly and delivered to my table with a smile. The tostadas were delicious. I had the agua de jamaica to drink.Having lived in Mexico, I can say that the tostadas are authentic. Judging by what I saw, I would guess the rest of the menu is also. I enjoyed it and think you will too.

Worst experience ever. Food is so small and pricey. I got a Gordita and it was like a cookie. So small. And be careful the guy who is getting you payment, he charges you more than he is supposed to. I got charged $40 for 6 tacos and 2 Gorditas. Not going here ever again.

Got takeout. Wow. The only part that was good was beans and rice. The flautas were so hard. Too hard to bite. Very soggy chile. Probably won't go
Great prices and service I tried both chicken nd steak tacos they wer decent but I wasn't impressed!

Decent portions, but the food lacks flavor tremendously, and the prices are extremely high. Expect to pay $20 and up per person for taqueria food. $16 for bland, and very mushy chilaquiles. The customer service could improve with just a smile.I would not recommend this place to anyone. My friends and I didn't like the food or the service.

This was my first time trying Taqueria Aguirre. You order from the counter and someone was right there to help me. I tried the Birria Taco plate. 3 tacos with rice & beans. The food came quickly but I was the only diner in the building. The beans were not even hot. The rice similarly wasn't very warm. The Birria tacos were just ok. The meat had a lot of tendons in it that I had to pick out. They were just lacking in flavor all the way around. The whole plate left me with a meh feeling especially with the fact that I had just paid $18.20 for that plate. Yep, $18.20 for just a plate of tacos without a drink. And they don't give you chips & salsa either.Would I go back? Probably not. Mediocre Mexican food at steak prices just doesn't appeal to me.
