This is the best place. They stop serving sandwiches around 2:30 so make sure you order or go before then. They have the best Cubans, home made pickles and I have yet to get a cookie from them that isn’t anything other than amazing. I can’t say enough good things about them.

If I could give The Wooden Spoon 10 stars I would! I absolutely love this place especially for lunch and of course their cookies are incredible an very reasonably priced. Once you've tasted their cookies you'd throw rocks at Crumbl in comparison. They always have the sweetest employees that make orders a breeze and customize the way you want. I highly recommend trying this place out! I always get 1/2 the TBA turkey sandwich and 1/2 cobb salad with the pasta salad. Their bread is so delicious and everything is so finger licking good and made with high quality ingredients.

I have eaten at the Wooden Spoon for 6yrs and over the last year or so the food has went downhill. A couple of months ago I ordered a Chicken Salad Sandwich, it tasted terrible and had bones in it. This last Wednesday I went over and got 2 cookies, the Pecan Sandie had a soured taste and the new Lemon Krinkle was so oily and it just seemed old. This place has always been so delicious and such a neat little place but it's declining quickly!

Ordered a veggie wrap I was not aware that WRAPS come on sandwich bread!!!! I called back to let them no about the mistake and the reply was come get you another sandwich and I simply said no i was just wanting yall to becareful on your orders i didn't want anything for free i drove from south Shreveport ther,she hung the phone up in my face so I, called back to speak to the owner and the lady told me it was her that hung the phone up in my face I am the owner hung up again God I miss the old owners now I want eat there ever!!!!!!!!
I ordered a basket to be delivered on a certain day and the basket was delivered the day of which it was ordered, which was 11 days too soon for a birthday gift. I called to ask what happened and was greeted with short answers and a reluctancy for compensation. If you place an order, call to make sure they can read the delivery date.

I always frequent this place for lunch and it is always timely and the food is delicious. Guy in the front is always friendly and so are the people in the back! I would recommend this place to anyone!! this is one of my favorite spots in the Shreveport/bossier area.

Haven’t been there in a year. Potato salad was over salted. Tasted nothing like I remembered.I loved the olive oil potato salad that I had last year. Cuban sand which had way too much mustard. Threw most of it away. Very disappointed from last year. Same management ?
