The food was delicious. Our waitress recommended staying on the regular menu and not worrying about the specials and she was right. The Teche Wellington was

This is a small cozy place. The food is really good. The wait staff are super friendly. Often there are live local entertainers. Reservations are recommended but we have gone several times with none and got seated.

Always a wonderful experience at CSM! We love introducing our favorite restaurant to our friends and family and they always love it there as much as we do. The pork chop is always wonderful. One of specials was the duck and andouille gumbo which was delicious and loaded with meat. We always have a 5 star experience.

We dined here for a belated valentines/anniversary dinner last night and we had such a wonderful experience! The food & drinks were fabulous, they had very friendly & attentive staff— the owner even greeted us & opened the door for us upon arrival & when we left! You can tell they take pride in their business and in making sure everyone has a great time! Also loved the attention to detail (like fresh flowers & candles on every table + the garnishes on our cocktails for example). The atmosphere was fun-loving, cozy, but also upscale! There was also live music that just was just the cherry on top of the good vibes! We had the best time & we will definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re looking to have a lovely date night out, but make sure you make a reservation. We had the eggplant creole as our appetizer, for our main course we had the Pasta Sydnie Mae with shrimp & the Teche Wellington, for dessert we had the bread pudding, and last but certainly not least… our drinks were the DragonFly Martini & a specialty old fashion with muddled blackberries/blackberry syrup. Everything was just SO delicious & the overall experience was amazing!

Dinner at Cafe Sydnie Mae before our school's annual Father-Daughter Dance has become as much of a tradition for my husband and daughter as attending the event itself. The food is always superb and the staff always make them feel special. Of course, this is what we have come to expect every time we dine here.

This is one of the best restaurant we've ever been to and we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of dinner there. The food is all phenomenal and the service was great. They have one of the best bread puddings in this area of LA! Overall highly recommend this restaurant for a great dinner experience all around.

Food was good- not exceptional- and pretty pricey. My companions loved their dinner selections and mine was good but outrageously expensive for what it was- the fish special was a redfish filet with shrimp and creole sauce. I asked for the filet grilled in butter with no shrimp or creole sauce and a potatoe galette for which they charged $38! It was good, but not great. Our server was nice but not as attentive as we would have liked. In her defense, the venue was packed and I think she was trying to take care of tables on both sides of the restaurant.

This restaurant's staff and owners deserve ten starts for their professionalism and compassion. We always have a great time and great experience with drinks, food, entertainment and just the atmosphere is always great. Yesterday we had Valentine's Reservations and of course due to personal reason my girl friend could not attend which left me having to go alone. Not because I had to but because I just good not see me canceling at the last minute and the restaurant not being able to fill that spot. So I went and explain to the owners and staff an of course they understood and told me not worry and made sure I had a great time by keeping me entertain. We are regulars and when the owners and staff tell and treat you like family it means a great deal. This is Cafe Sydney Mae is always our first choice for dining out. Support your local business owners and they will take care of you and always make you feel welcome. **********

Special event at Sydnie Mae's! Breaux Bridge's Lundi Gras "Krewe de Pont" masquerade ball. Food was delicious and the service is always wonderful. Noise level as expected for this fun and lively party. We come here regularly. We recommend it! David and Cheryl Puckett do everything to make your dining experience a great memory!

Awesome as always! Grits and griades were like somebody's grand momma brought them straight out her kitchen. Bloody Mary the best! Our place of choice to celebrate with friends every time they come in! Thank you for being so consistent on all levels!

By far, one of the warmest places I've dined. Staff is very friendly and the venue is adorable. I enjoyed the live music. Great cocktails and the food!!! Wow! Felt like I was visiting friends and family.

I love this place. Yes, the food is amazing, But, there is something much more special about this place. The people. The owners, the staff, create the most magical, warm, loving environment. This place is a treasure.❤️
