First time trying and soon as I walk in very friendly couple, the food came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. It gave a warm feeling in my body like a good home made meal that your mom makes. Will be coming back

Food was good. The portions are smaller than what you'd get at a authentic Thai food place for the same cost. Not as authentic but still good if you don't want to drive to Lafayette to have this kind of food.

Thai Bayou Cafe had been closed for a period of time and I was quite sad because I had heard great things so imagine how happy I was hearing that they were open! I pulled up the menu and decided on Pad Thai and since I had limited time for lunch, I decided to call it in and pick it up. A very friendly guy when stated that he was the owner took my order and asked for my choice of protein. I asked if I could have it extra spicy, heavy on the basil and he told me that his wife (the cook) would have no problem making that happen. Ten minutes later, I was picking up my order from the same friendly guy. The Pad Thai was piping hot and was everything that Pad Thai should be: spicy, fresh, sweet, SOUR, crunchy...it was literally an explosion of flavors. The only slight complaint I have is about the price as compared to the portion size. The medium sized container was enough for one person and was a few cents shy of $20. If you read my other reviews, you'll know that I do not mind paying for good food however I did have to point out the price/value. I am curious about the other things on the menu and plan on visiting again quite soon.

Even the first forkful was a pleasure. the egg rolls were a culinary delight. We had fried rice with chicken and curry with rice and chicken. The food is excellent and sufficient for both small and large appetites. Above all, the fact that the portions are not overloaded shows the kitchen's responsibility in terms of quality. Quality always trumps quantity. Thank you for the good food.

My husband and I finally checked this place out the other day and it was delicious! We ordered the cream cheese crab puffs, dumplings, phad thai with chicken, & crabmeat fried rice. All good but dumplings were phenomenal! Definitely give this place a try if you haven’t already.

This food prepared is a Thai flavor explosion. The Dumplings, Tom Ga Kai and Pahd See-Ew are the best that I've ever had. The owners are the sweetest couple also! I'm definitely a patron for life!

My goodness have we missed this place. The Pad Thai is fantastic as well as the Tom Yum Gai. Really glad Pont Breaux has this spot!!FYI, 5 stars aren't free and have to be well earned.
First time here for lunch and it won't be our last. The owners are a husband/wife. She is Thai and makes all the delicious meals. He runs the front taking orders, serving the food and greeting guests. Super friendly and grateful for the business. The food was perfect both in flavor and portion. Everything is made to order. I had the Pad Thai noodles with chicken and pork and chicken steamed dumplings. I can't wait to go back again. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. The interior was exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. So great to have a restaurant like this in Breaux Bridge.

Really good food but they seem to close (for multiple reasons I'm sure) often. Twice we were going to get takeout and they were s*** down. Hoping this place survives! Food is always on point. Great pad Thai!

Fan freaking tastic. Every time. Keyword is "authentic," with regard to the actual cuisine. The chef is obviously knowledgeable and cares about the quality of what she puts out. The front of the house is knowledgeable, personable and in all-around good dude.

Our family loves the food here. Especially the Thai Rice Soup. It is fantastic. We moved away from Louisiana recently and I frequently find myself craving the soup, especially as it gets colder. Wish we had the recipe! You won’t be disappointed by the quality of food. All our meals have been tasty here. And the atmosphere makes you feel safe during COVID outbreaks. Highly recommend.
