“Way nicer on the inside than the outside! I was only able to make a quick visit, but I had a wonderful conversation with Sonia the owner. She recently lost her husband, and also the long-time bartender and between this, the damage from Ida, and the heat this summer I think things here are scaled way back from what they used to be. But the history of this place and the warm welcome you'll receive make it totally worth a visit. It will be my first stop the next time I'm back in Houma.“
“Think of Cheers on the bayou. Everybody knows not only your name but "your mom and them." Good peaceful atmosphere. A place to forget about your day and let your hair down. Friendly bartenders and patrons. Worth checking out if ever you're in the area. You won't find another like it kind of vibe.“
