Coffee Rani was a recommendation from a local and we could not be more thrilled that we stopped by on our first week living in Covington. We were told to ask for Lauren and ironically she was the one who greeted us and took our order when we arrived. We ordered the Pest Crusted Chicken Sandwich and the Avocado Ciabatta. Both were incredibly fresh and tasty with the perfect amount of salt and seasoning. Both were delicious, ingredients fresh and flavor was spot on. Even the fruit and salad on the side were so good we devoured them. To go, my husband ordered a cafe viennese and it tasted so much like the one from San Ambreous, a very famous cafe in NYC and the Hamptons. Lauren and the staff are incredible. The place is packed as proof of their hard work and great food.

Really glad I found this place. Overnighted in Covington driving to Georgia. I ordered a breakfast sandwich on croissant, americano, and cranberry muffin. All were perfect. First timer so it's worth talking about their process. You order at the counter first then either wait at the pick up counter or take a number and have a seat wherever you want. They will bring to your table. Menus are located on a wall close to where you place order. You will prepay. Paying with credit card will prompt you for tip. I prefer to leave cash at the table but all I had were $20s. So, I tipped up front. They do have drip coffee but I opted for an americano. It was just about perfect. I can say the same for the sandwich. It did come out just after the espresso and really hot. Too hot to comfortably eat. Everything was amazing from the eggs to the crisped bacon to the perfectly toasted croissant. I thought I would still be hungry with just the sandwich so I also ordered the muffin. They have a standard selection. The cranberry muffin has walnuts if that's important. The portion was larger than expected. It didn't look exceptionally large but it was denser than usual. It was also about perfect. I'm a bigger dude and I probably wouldn't try to eat both again. They have a good amount of outside seating. There is a decent amount of parking behind the building but it's shared with other businesses. It's worth noting that it's exceptionally clean. I used the men's room and it was also very clean. I couldn't recommend enough. I look forward to revisiting on my next road trip across the state.

Coffee Rani is my family's go-to breakfast restaurant on Saturday mornings. Love the staff, love the food, and the coffee is great! My picks are always the BreakFresh Wrap and the Wedding Cake latte with oatmilk.

I stopped in this coffee shop just to check them out. I was served by Mallory, who was not only friendly and informative, but also provided exceptional service. The cappuccino was good. The interior earring areawas clean and inviting. I chose to sit outside and enjoy the Louisiana humidity. Will definitely return to try the food.

Did not get our entire order. Called to let them know and received zero compassion, I was refunded for what wasn’t received but felt there response was completely apathetic. Customer service was equivalent to the DMV

Well if you want to go to lunch with the women are this is it. But if you want good food bunch of five cents. The chicken salad changes was incredibly gl and it actually put thousands of bean sprouts like grass on it so it sucked. The gumbo was in distinguish supposed to be chicken and sausage but you couldn't find I just wish a piece of chicken or sausages cheesecake Chris Jaguar so I won't be back

The food here is great, but the ladies that work here are so rude. They seem annoyed to just take your order. I get that it's usually pretty busy but like calm down, it's your job. This is why I prefer the Mandeville location.
Love the salads! Best Caesar salad around! The other food is great too. I just prefer the salad.

Everything we ate was really good - chicken salad, reuben, pesto chicken, ham&gouda, salad, etc. No complaints - even the iced tea was great! Prices are reasonable. The person taking orders wasn't the friendliest, but the place was extremely busy that day, and everyone looked very busy. Atmosphere is good too - especially sitting on the patio on a nice day!
