We've been going to Coffee Rani for so many years (decades) that it's easy to take for granted that we'll find great service and great food in a delightful atmosphere. But lunch yesterday really stood out. I had lunch with six friends at peak rush hour. The line was to the door when we arrived. We marveled at how efficiently ordering went. Wish I'd gotten everyone's name but Addison took our order and Carter served our food. Both were very young but completely efficient, pleasant and professional. Anybody(at any age) would have been flustered waiting on so many people but they were pleasant and delightful. It goes without saying that our salads were excellent. But it was the service and professionalism of these two very young employees that really stood out. Whatever y'all are doing, keep it up.

I've been coming here forever, and every single time, it's been incredible - even if Coffee Rani is packed. My most-recent visit was for lunch today, and despite it being quite busy, my mom, one of her best friends, and I did not have any issues with our order, and service was excellent (per usual). I would advise getting here between 11 and 11:30 to beat the lunch crowd. It can get noisy, but it's not unbearable. (Plus, it's a fun spot to meet friends for lunch.) Some of my favorites (before I had to cut gluten for medical reasons) are: crawfish Monica, chicken quesadillas, or the croissant club. Their soups were also my favorite, especially any of their crawfish or crab bisques. I do appreciate them having gluten-free bread and other options for those who are intolerant/celiac. They also have gluten-free goodies at this location and Mandeville.

So far, we like all the food we've had here. I must recommend the Reuben sandwich on marble rye. My wife's eggs Benedict were well prepared though the Hollandaise sauce has a certain sour twang which might be off-putting to some. We are beginning to frequent this place.

The food is just ok, nothing stood out, dined there several times. What amazed me the most is the stack of disposable tablecloths on the tables. Not sure why they put so many of them . Maybe out of laziness so they don’t have to clean the tables after each customer but just take one off instead ? Anyway, it looks very unappealing and sloppy. It takes 3 seconds to wipe a table! Please someone address this issue.

Amazing food. Visiting from out of town and literally ate here 3x in one day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Each meal was delicious, and the atmosphere was lovely.It was a weekday, so no crowds, and I was able to bring my book along and leisurely eat and enjoy each meal. Latte was great in the morning, and chocolate cake was decadent after dinner! 100% would recommend coming for any meal!

They have the best salad, especially the chicken salad or any Caesar salad.
I loved this place. They have lots of gluten-free options, including quesadillas, which I had. It was on special and delicious.The barista was super knowledgeable about cross contamination (maybe was the manager or owner). The expo was super friendly, also. While I tool my food to-go, the atmosphere seemed really relaxed and has a great balance of warm light and grounding wood textures. Highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Great for gluten-free people

cute little cafe just to sit and drink coffee, but also perfect for a meal! i love coffee rani and all the staff is very nice too!;) i would recommend it if you wanted to meet with a friend. their food is delicious

This location is fantastic they always double check my daughter's food for allergies; they call if there's a question. Really great customer service. Even the delivered food is still warm when it arrives. The presentation is always great. Haven't always been happy with the Mandeville location but this location is fantastic. Kids love it. If you're in the area the interior and atmosphere is adorably quaint and comfortable for a family lunch. Definitely a good choice for dining in Old Covington.

Got an Abita Strawberry beer, a meatball ciabatta and the duck gumbo. Had never had the duck gumbo and it was meaty and hardy, very good flavor. Left with a happy belly for sure. Their club is really good, too.
