Honestly, despite the awful posts that are out there, we had a WONDERFUL experience at Copelands of Covington last night! It was a Friday night, and we sat on the patio to listen to the live music while we dined. It was a beautiful atmosphere and our food and waitress, Megan was phenomenal! Seriously!! Service (at least by Megan) was timely, accommodating, and delightful. Food was served hot, well timed, and tasted really good! Literally ZERO complaints! Def a must try, especially on the patio if there's also live music. (Ok, only "complaint" was that they don't take same-day reservations, which makes absolutely no sense, so make reservations at least a day before if you must)

The food was great, and the server kept up with over 25 guests. Family friendly environment and the cheesecake was amazing.

We had seafood platters and bread pudding. The seafood platter was not what I was expecting. It was okay slightly spicy and not as large as other places also with a higher price. The stuffed crab patty had little bites of shell meat all in it. The fries were delicious. The bread pudding was delicious! Oh, we did have an appetizer of cheesy bread it was delicious but cold. There was a crowd it was beautiful to see all the young high school students dressed up for their proms. Very delightful night. It didn't stop the waitress from the excellent service she provided. If you get a chance check them out. Order different things and share. Thank you for your excellent service and food!! You may also eat outside on the beautiful porches!!Parking: Large amount of parking. Plenty of handicap spots.Wheelchair accessibility: Has ramps to go inside very accommodating.

We had Ivan I believe as a waiter in Covington La wonderful server.The chicken Renee was awesome an the crab claws appetizer I could live off of ! I don't suggest the steak it tasted like canned meat I just took it home an added seasoning an garlic butter an it was good then! My husband got the spicy fried chicken an said it was delish! So over success! I'd recommend it overall
My drink came out after appetizer, the kids meals came out well after my and my wife's meals, they did not give my son a side with his meal, my other son's salad had dressing on it, they had to redo my wife's meal because the eggs were not cooked to order, I got a side I was unaware of, and my wife's plate was broken... for $70 for lunch... won't be going back

They couldn't manage to remove the blood-line from my $30 red fish.My wife's filet had some strange seasoning.Come on guys ...... just salt & pepper when you want to taste the meat!

Went to this Copelands in Covington on 2/24/2024 about 6:45 p.m. and sat at the bar. Ordered a spinach dip appetizer that took almost 45 minutes and then almost went to the wrong table. Ordered some food to go that took longer than expected too. The food was awesome as usual but the environment was very disturbing and awful and Al would be rolling over in his grave had he seen his employees acting in such a way. I have worked for this restaurant in Baton Rouge and Metairie and all of his chains and the atmosphere this time may keep me from going back for a while. An employee came out with a bowl of soup and just started eating her dinner right at the bar in front of all the customers. Laughing and joking and spent about 20 minutes just enjoying her soup and cutting up. If I were the manager, she would have been fired on the spot especially being a Saturday night and we were already waiting almost an hour for an appetizer and food to go. I am sure there is a designated spot for the employees to have a quick lunch break if working doubles but this just amazed me to the top degree.
