Not sure what’s going on with a restaurant that has been consistently good. The red gravy doesn’t taste the same. My dining partner said her chicken was so dry she couldn’t cut it. Her broccoli came out uncooked. The butter wasn’t even melted. This makes me feel sad. I hope they can rectify this at the Covington location. The eggplant sticks were a winner.

My wife and I enjoyed a Monday lunch at DiMartino's in Covington. It was our first visit and the service was excellent. Although the ambiance was comfortable and warm the decor was somewhat dated and worn, so upgrades might be suggested. Seafood, traditional Louisiana staples, and steaks were on the menu, along with Italian standards. Prices are competitive. We settled on the spaghetti and meatballs and the signature lasagna. Both were good, with the lasagna being primo. Portions were generous. Side salads and iced teas were also good, but management might consider rethinking their bread, as it was pretty standard supermarket fare. All in all a very good experience. We will return.
