“The only thing that needs improvement is that there was no one ahead of me at the window. Yet, I had to wait about 2 minutes for the young lady realize I was at the window waiting to place my order. Im guessing, (I dont know) but, im guessing she was nose deep in her phone. Just a guess.The Snowballs were great.“
“Wil & Evelyn (the Warden) Vielman serve the best fair food I have ever tasted; in fact, it is restaurant-quality food. In addition to traditional cajun favorites like gumbo, they offer alligator sausage on a stick and 2 delicious shrimp dishes--cajun shrimp boat and (my favorite) bacon-wrapped shrimp. Each dish is made fresh when ordered and from high-quality ingredients. Six huge shrimp are served with a choice of dipping sauce, from mildly tangy to cajun spicy, and accompanied by a generous portion of freshly made french fries. The shrimp boat contains 12 big, peeled (no tails to deal with), deep-fried shrimp on a bed of golden French fries, ketchup, & a tangy creole sauce. They serve an outstanding lemonade made with lemon, lime, orange slices and blueberries and cherries. Each meal is very filling, and very affordably priced--especially when compared with other fair food. The couple travel to fairs and festivals all over the country to serve their superb dishes to the crowds. Evelyn also informed me she makes a dish composed of layers of sliced eggplant, cheese, and spaghetti sauce that has customers lined up for quite a distance. Service is well organized, prompt, & cheerful. Evelyn and Wil assured me they will back next year for the annual Troy (PA) [which serves as the Bradford County Fair].. “Ya girl was a little confused on where the coffee shop was! I am a silly goose. Truth. Lolol It’s inside the salon. I walked in and was greeted and the shop was sooo cute! The girl with the nose ring was super nice and listened to me talk about my experience as a barista. She was so nice to listen to me! I told her thank you and I hoped she had a great rest of her day. The coffee was delicious! I got an iced caramel macchiato. After I finished it I was like, I want more. Wish this company was also in Hammond. It is so amazing to have younger people be passionate about their dreams and make them come true! Will definitely be back again! :)“
“The onnnnlllllyyy reason it's not 5 stars is because you can never catch them open. Honestly I love and hate that about the place...food and hospitality is all there and it just feels great to be there. The mom and pop place you're missing.“
