First let me say the ice cream and service is great. The young girl that served me tonight was fantastic and clearly loves her job. But I am not sure I will be going back after watching what I assume to be the owner's son or some other clearly entitled kid engage in very unhygienic practices while I was sitting there eating ice cream with my daughter. A high-school-aged boy and his buddy waltzes into the shop in his uniform and socks (no shoes), walks behind the counter without missing a beat, grabs the scoop with his unwashed, grubby hands, and proceeds to scooop ice cream into the blender (licking his fingers with each and every messy scoop). Then he makes his smoothie and walks out the door with his buddy, who interestingly actually washed his hands but never handled the ice-cream.I get it. I grew up in and around the service industry. But I think it's time for management or the owners to have a talk with junior.

Brought grandchildren in for ice cream tonight and they enjoyed it. We didn't sample the cookies, but they looked good. I think price points were a little high and the decor and outside tables could use a little freshening, but a good experience for the kids.

Small location, but it has everything you need. Always consistently great cookie cakes! They do good personalization as well.

The employees didn't use gloves to grab the cookies neither for opening the bag they used their bare hands and that's unsanitary to me I won't be going back to this one.

There's nothing but dessert places on hwy 21 now. Great American cookies, Crumbl and epic milkshakes all in walking distance.I finally managed to get around to going. There's definitely more here than just cookies. Unknown till arrival they have cakes, ice cream and malts too.Now I've heard several arguments the GAC and crumbl over which was better. I'm here to put that argument to rest.Crumbl is definitely the better COOKIE place to go as the presentation is better and the cookies definitely gen taste better pending u get a cookie worth having. Also cookies are made to order at crumbl so it's fresh. Great American cookies has more variety but unless u go in at the right time the cookie your get prob isn't freshly made. Plus for people looking for value there's actual bundle deals for cookies. However bundles only for the basic cookies and Will not extend to brownies, cakes, ice cream or double doozies.Great American cookies does specialized cakes to order (at least 2 days in advance) and allows any current day cookies to be converted into double doozies which is nice. They also serve ice cream and can make malts as well. There's also unlike crumbl areas to sit and eat vs take to go.The 2 cookies I decided to buy were great the birthday cake doozie and white chocolate macadamia nut. However the cheesecake brownie was a pass. Like crumbl Cookies are probably randomized but unlike crumbl which on social media u can see weeks cookies well in advance you prob can't tell what's available before u arrive unless u call.Still its a great place IMO if you're looking for more variety in sweets or looking for a custom order or value for large orders for a party or multiple kids. Raw cookie id still prob go to crumbl however....

Love this location!! Super sweet staff as well!! Everyone was so helpful and welcoming. Can’t wait to bring the family back. The caramel ice cream and supreme pecan cookies are our favorites. :)

Not pleased at all! Cookie cake was so thin & undercooked that it was hard to cut a slice. Decorating was nicely done but icing had no flavor! A bit pricey, too.

Great place! Great workers go above and beyond! The manager, owners and workers seem to really enjoy their job and are always personable, friendly, and helpful.

I went to pick up cookie cake and it had the wrong colors on it. If it had had any color on it besides brown I would have taken it even though it was supposed to be blue and white. An all brown cake is not nice looking for a birthday(need color to be festive). They said they would do another and they did. While I waited I got a drink and a double doozie. The double doozie cookies were so yard when you knocked on it you could hear the knock. Before I ordered the double doozie I asked about the freshness of the cookies and he said they were baked 2 hours prior. I think they were way over baked. I gave 4 stars because they corrected their mistake with the cookie cake and even gave a larger one(because she said that’s all they had). The cake looked nice and to my surprise it was the freshest thing I’ve ever gotten there. I started to not go there for cake because of stale one last year but gave them another try. It was an extra 30 minute wait for the cookie cake but worth it. It was very fresh and good.

We went in on a hot Sunday around 2:30. They had one waffle cone left. We asked when they would have more and their response was a little shocking...."its time consuming to make them and so we likely wont have anymore today" in a pretty rude voice, im just thinking...wouldnt you have seen them running low and started making them earlier? Also out of whipcream. They werent particularly friendly for a supposed to be fun kind of place.

My husband and youngest son loves this place. The young lady and man who were working this evening was so nice. There's a new manager who was there on my last visit she was not very nice, she didn't warmly greet us, just asked if she could help us. I asked her for a box for the six cookies I had purchased because she placed them in a thin sleeve and handed them to me. I was afraid they would fall as I would driving home with the cookies in hand. She literally grabbed a box and tossed it to me as I was paying for my cookies. I asked if she could box them. I wondered where her personality was and I why she didn't give me a box from the beginning... I did purchase 6 cookies for $36. I also noticed the napkin holders are always dusty with grim on them. This is a brand new desert shop and I expect for it to be super clean.
