This is a great place to get Thai and Chinese in the same spot. Really good chicken panang and General tso chicken. Fried rice is pretty good as well. Biggest complaint was slow service.

I ordered the Mandarin Chicken and spring rolls, totally amazing! Everything dish is cooked to order so it's very fresh.

Tried a new place for New Year's Eve and glad I did. The food was noticeably higher quality than expected. The staff was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend giving the. A shot.

We had a late weekday lunch at Green Leaf Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese in Covington and it was a generally good experience.. Green Leaf is a storefront restaurant with a neat, contemporary, pseudo-Asian decor and a casual ambiance. We were the only customers at 2:00 pm and service was friendly and welcoming. Our server really couldn't share much info on Vietnamese cuisine, so we settled on Chinese and Thai standards. We started with egg roll appetizers, which were a little chewy. My wife had a lemon/chicken rice bowl over noodles, and I had the Pad Thai. Both were reasonably portioned and modestly seasoned. Not a lot special to say about Green Leaf, but service was good and lunch was acceptable and reasonably priced.

This place looks like a dive but the food is unusually good and good all the time. And I know about food. Reasonable prices also. A hidden gem.

Located close to a busy intersection of downtown is this nicely decorated storefront restaurant. Upon arrival, the interior is very decorated and pretty. They seem to be a slow day since there were no customers at this time. I look this location of based on yelp. I have to see it's not in a bad location and had some nice decorations. The wait staff seated us immediately and offered us drinks. I ordered a watered with lemon and my friend ordered a Sweet tea. I started with one of my favorites which is the rice paper, shrimp summer spring rolls. First impression is that it had too much lettuce and not enough of the other vegetables. It was a little too "loosely" wrapped for me liking as during each bite more of the the spring roll kept falling out. After the appetizers, I ordered the pad Thai with shrimp. Well, my friend ordered a combination pho noodle soup. Which had beef tendons, meatballs, and beef. My first impression of a pad Thai was that it was too much liquid in the bottom and the flavors that I'm so used to were off. It went like it was different in flavor but felt as though it was missing something. When my friend tasted the soup, he wasn't very impressed with the flavors. He added the bean sprout and cilantro as usual but he said that the broth lacked in seasoning and tasted quite watered down. Bare in mind that my friend is a Sou Chef from Thailand, so I'm inclined to believe he knows flavors at least. I also tasted his soup and I felt that it was missing more of the bone/marrow broth that comes from the Tonkotsu broth that I'm familiar with. During an interaction with the waitress and owner, i discovered that this location was fairly new and a spin-off of the Viet Kitchen in Mandeville and Green Leaf of Hammond. Overall, the food wasn't the best at this location. but they seem to be very kind to us regarding the service. The prices were a bit much for what it lacked in flavor, but fair in the amount of food received. I'd suggests trying it out for yourself but this place was simply, a 'meh' for me. They provided nothing unique, different, or special that made me want to come back for more.

This is pretty terrible. Before we even get to the food part, we attempted to call to place an order for pickup. The number on Google, on their website, and on Doordash was all the same, and despite attempting for about 15 minutes, it seems the cell phone was turned off, as the "voicemail box is not set up yet". So we were forced to go through Doordash only. The best thing we ordered were the handmade eggrolls, which were delicious and perfect. The calamari was desperately underseasoned, I wouldn't recommend if you are a calamari lover. The bahn mi (pork) had soft bread, not crispy as a bahn mi should be. The pieces of pork were too big, and there were far too few vegetables. The Khao Pad Sapparot was absolutely abysmal. The shrimp tasted as though they had been boiled in water without so much as salt. The rice was somehow both sticky and dry, in desperate need of any kind of sauce. The vegetables had to have been frozen, as many of them were still hard and uncooked. This place is getting knocked off our lunch choice list.

The food was absolutely amazing, and although we came relatively close to closing we felt so well accommodated. We will definitely be returning!!

It has been a while since I ate at Green Leaf, but such a change not for the good. The atmosphere was depressing - dark, hot, no life, no customers. It was painful to eat there. The food was not even close to how good I remembered.

Everything was very fresh and delicious. Happy to have found a good Asian restaurant not too far from Folsom! We'll be eating there frequently.
