This place is small, but with a cozy, comfortable ambience.Fresh, that is what I wanted to go with here. The fish tasted fresh, the atmosphere/staff were refreshing and the experience was great.Thank you, as I eat a lot of places and a lot of things. I felt pleased and satisfied. The food, the venue, the whole meal, was truly worthwhile.

I had DoorDash, and I was super surprised how quick it was even with it being delivered. The mandeville roll was out of this world! Highly recommend. The Gyoza was also very good. This was a first for me to have beef fried rice with actual steak chunks and they were super tender, best fried rice I’ve had in a long time. This place is an absolute gem. Definitely going back for more soon!

I have ordered take out from here twice. Gave them a second chance tonight, but both times i've just felt like they've missed the mark. Mostly due to quality and freshness, the tuna in the sushi is always brown and fishy in a bad way. The rolls easily fall apart. I will say my fiancé enjoyed his shrimp fried rice as they put more shrimp than most places he's ordered from. There are just so many better and more fresh options on the north shore. The service has always been great though!

Cleanliness is bad here. There was a roach on our table and the cook kept cooking our hibachi meal and the roach went all over everything and nobody came over to help us remove the roach or replace anything the roach had crawled over. The server only came over to charge us for our drinks since we said we were leaving. Cleanliness here is bad!! Eat here at your own risk.

The food was great but make sure your server understands you. Dory misheard my order for hot saki and insisted I ordered a large which was not the case. I ordered 2 large apple saki and 1 regular hot saki because I never tried it before and didn’t know if I would like it. I tried to bring this to her attention and she basically called me a liar and charged me $12 for it even though I told her I wouldn’t drink it. My friend took it home to see if his grandmother would like it it hopefully isn’t completely wasted. I expected to pay for the first portion of the large as I wanted to try it but the 2nd one was ridiculous. I’ve been there a few times but won’t be returning as the experience was ruined when dory insinuated I was lying. Too bad.

I had the lunch plate. It was good, not outstanding, though. Salad was extremely watery, one of my pet peeves (drain your lettuce!). Flavors were nice. I want to return to try sashimi/sushi.
