We had 7 pm reservations, were seated quickly and our waiter, Will, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the wines and menu. We enjoyed a delicious meal celebrating Mother's Day early to avoid the crowds. The Linguini Tritone was exceptional and Veal Palermo delicious. This was our fifth time going to Marcello's and will continue to be one of our favorites on the North Shore!!

I feel compelled to let the readers know I normally do not normally go to Italian restaurants because the food is too heavy ‘old world Italian style'. If you are looking for heavy acidity Italian go elsewhere. *Our table had crabmeat contessa, Fried Brussel sprouts and calamari all delicious. Ceased salad and soup of the day, linguini Triton and lasagna. The chef has found a way to create a light flavorful cream sauce that is phenomenal! The Caesar salad is one of the best on the Northshore. The tiramisu was also light and airy. The service was impeccable also. I will definitely be back. Marcello's in Covington is now permanently added to our go to list for special occasions! I suggest you add it to your list!
The atmosphere was lovely and kept me captivated constantly. Food was some of the best I've had in a long time as well. Easily can say I will be coming back at some point in the future!

Went to have a drink friday at 9:15pm with my wife at the bar and the bartender told us they were closed, and didn't say anything else. The look I got was it was time to go home. I’ve been wanting to go here for a while because it looked nice and quaint, but this experience just ruined it forever. A very unwelcoming experience. We immediately went Del Porte and it was extremely nice. Will never go back to Marcello’s!

Super rude upon entering the restaurant. Too late to seat a table for two at 8:20. When in doubt, walk over to Dakota. They were super friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious.

Intimate Italian at its best. I ordered the pork cheek and my wife got the veal Molli. It was superb. For dessert, we ordered the Tiramisu. The waiter said, “the best Tiramisu of your life” and he was right! My wife doesn’t usually care for tiramisu but it was divine. We can’t recommend Marcello’s

Well appointed venue. We were greeted as entered by owner(manager). The menu choices were excellent, as were the wine and cocktail choices. Our server was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable about the various entrees. All in all a great experience in our opinion. Will certainly return!

This was our second dining experience at Marcelo's. The first time was good enough to return for the second time. After this experience the restaurant is going on my “worst ever food list “ My wife ordered the Grouper fish special & I had the chicken Palermo. The fish tasted old and oily. The chicken was ok & served with tasteless pasta. The calamari was overcooked and tasted like old, dirty fry oil.

This was the last date night of 2023 for us. I made online reservations, which was easy, but the parking is kind of wild. The hostess said they had been experiencing some parking issues because of Dakota's. So keep that in mind when heading over. Our waiter was really nice and highly attentive. The food was delicious. I had the chicken molli and my husband has the ossobuco. Everything was really tasty. The service delivery was really swift. I will say the only thing that we didn't enjoy was the cheesecake. It wasn't bad but just meh in relation to the other dishes. I did really enjoy the tiramisu, though. Overall, it was a great dinner.

The atmosphere was quiet and nice. White table clothes. We were brought to our table right away. We had an early reservation, so that might account for the quiet time. The food and service were great. The bread was fantastic. You can sit outside or on back porch that was closed in or the dining room. It was our anniversary whichninputnonnthe reservation. Nothing was said or done to make it special. We would go back again.

What a wonderful hidden gem! Had a girls' Christmas dinner here last night and couldn't have asked for a better place to dine. Reservations were very easy to make, as we only had 4 in our party.
