Super friendly service. Excellent BBQ. Super smoky and great bark on the meat. Cheesy grits are a must!

The pulled pork was pretty good. Everything else we had we were disappointed. The bbq sauce on the table tasted awful like it had turned. We told the guy and he gave us another one which tasted the same. Smoked chicken my husband said tasted over brined and kinda mushy. I didn't think it was that bad. Grits were almost good but wayy too salty. Both my husband and I didn't like the green beans. Very vinegary and over cooked. I'd go for the pork again and try some other sides if they had good bbq sauce.

Food was great, the meat was tender and full of flavor. However the BBQ sauce wasn't all that, too much alcohol and too tangy. Thankfully that's separate and you can add some on if you want. The service was amazing and walking into this small BBQ place you can feel just how chill and relaxed this place is. Great selection of whiskeys and drank if you're thirsty. Overall we enjoyed it and will be back.It was totally pricey, spent about $90 on three ppl. And only one of us got a two meat plate.

Excellent place for a quick bite. Reasonably priced but high quality food. Brisket was perfectly cooked. Loved all the sides, like home-made. And oh my goodness the bread and butter pickles yum

The picture should be enough for you to realize that you definitely should not eat here. These people don’t even deserve to call themselves barbecue. Luckily this meal was furnished by my employer because if I would’ve paid for it I would’ve been one PO’d person for wasting my money. Brisket was super dry , the grits were hard, Mac and cheese was decent. Don’t waste your time or money.

That wood fired aroma will stimulate your appetite as soon as you arrive. My wife and I shared the two meats and two sides option. Brisket and Chicken, Braised Greens and Carrots. With the added corn bread and pickles, it was plenty of food. We had to take some home with us. The food plus a Jucifer IPA and a Hahn Pinot Grigio made for a very nice lunch.

Didn't know they have a Sunday brunch so we were pleasantly surprised! I was a little disappointed in the cracklin and queso because what they served was actually pork rinds and not cracklin. Other than that, everything was really good. Brisket omelet served with potatoes was my favorite. Definitely going to try burger next time

Taste of St. Tammany restaurant #2 pyre provisions.I think I had pyre BBQ and provisions mixed on menu items originally while I think it's part of the same company 2 totally different places. Pyre BBQ coming up next.Provisions ToST coupon is 20% off of menu with purchase of an entree and or buy one get one half off daquiris ( better to come on happy hour Friday where it's buy one get one [pictured in a sign])The bar is full service which is generally my favorite kind of bar. Pyre provisions has a very nice sitting area very clean and fashionable with a few tvs prob to stream game nights. Plenty of seating with booths. The bar already has kitchenware set ahead of time which is nice and the water they served in an empty alcohol bottle.... NiceColin was today's bartender very nice man who apparently is to thank for the pyre colada. Who was also nice enough to let me try them before making a decision. The strawberry lemonade is pretty good as well but definitely the colada is the winner with the coconut aftertaste hitting at just the right time. Not being too cold, too thick or over alcoholic. The guava has too much after bite for my tasting. The midsummer night cocktail is the winner for me. I asked colin which were there best cocktails.... Apparently #1 is the old fashioned which was a little to basic for a review of a restaurant.I will say presentation is something this place takes precedence on which is refreshing all things here have an A-1 look to it. The drinks were all amazingThe food however, while not bad isn't... How can I put it the flavor I expected from a BBQ restaurant. Maybe that's my bad for trying to do something else in a review other than a meat plate. The duck hummus was good. I just expected a little richer flavor from the duck or spice I guess. The Mac and cheese was very creamy but I dunno I felt it was lacking something. The andouille gumbo I must say was a miss tho. From Louisianans this was my resemblance and flavoring to a stew over gumbo which isn't the same.... Insider hints says this may be bc the head chefs from Connecticut.... Once again it's not BAD by any means but definitely should be listed as a stew. The quesadillas was the real winner tho giving me the flavoring I expected a little charred but delicious.. Once again with A+ presentationsWhile the food, I ordered, was closer to 3-4* I do believe the more BBQ styled plates are prob much better. The atmosphere, service from Colin and the drinks were well much more closer to perfection. Next trip I'll order more BBQ styled things and I think I'll have closer to what I expect from a BBQ restaurant.Specials are different on happy hrs 2-5pmTipsy Tuesday 5$ old fashioned, gin/vodka martiniWine down Wednesday 1/2 wine glassesThirsty Thursday 1/2 beer on tapFrozen friday BoGo daquiris (glass)Highly recommend if u are looking for an upscale feel place with more.... Down to earth pricing, nice place for cocktails or a warm social atmosphere.

Gourmet BBQ in a fun environment where staff treats you like royalty. If you are in Covington eat and experience Pyre tonight.

We love this place and come here at least once a week. The food is excellent and you cannot go wrong with the BBQ plate. All the meats are fantastic, but the brisket is my favorite. The service is awesome and all the servers are super friendly. Collin makes a perfect old fashioned and Amber and Grace are just the sweetest! Pyre is also a nice spot on Sundays for brunch. Try the smokehouse omelette or southern fried pork chop with a Bloody Mary!

I don't get the good ratings. I have tried the brisket every year over the past 3 years, and it has never been good... it is almost inedible. The brisket is never rendered properly, which generally means they are cooking it at too high of a heat for shorter periods... this vs central Texas which cooks at around 240 degrees for 16-20 hours. That Texas brisket then almost falls apart and is so moist and delicious. This brisket doesn't have enough salt and pepper rub on it, and is tough, rubbery, and almost tastes like it was boiled, or worse, reheated from yesterday, which is a decent bet. The sides are average, but the much too sweet greens are gross. If you want brisket that is 5x better and costs 50% less, go across the street to the Chevron station - they are much closer to true brisket than these guys at Pyre.

Love coming here to eat and relax after work, it's always a welcoming environment and the staff is amazing! The food is always tasty and I love trying the new items they come out with. Definitely check them out for Brunch as well, one of my favorite brunch places in the Covington/Mandeville area

So, I was invited to visit my Buddy Bobby from Alabama who is visiting Pete who lives in Covington, Louisiana and decided to go out and eat at a place called Pyrie BBQ in Covington. Great dining experience and the green balls (fried Brussels sprouts) are to die for. The service was great, the ambiance relaxed and decor really nice. Not too upscale and not too casual but just the right mood of a place. Insane portions, very flavorful food and a good time. Remember to support you local grubbers so we both don't starve...

My boyfriend and I ate here today. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We had the Brussel Sprouts app and they were absolutely AMAZING! I had the pulled pork sandwich and my boyfriend had the burger. We were both happy. We sat at the bar and the environment reminded me of a cool little swanky Colorado Bar. The menu is rather hip and a nice selection. The chef had a good attention to seasoning and unlike most places, not salty. It was perfect. The bartender was very attentive and kind. I believe her name was Tara. We will go back!
