We sat at the bar. The service manager was also the bartender. He was very attentive and helpful with the order. They brought back their redfish dish that I absolutely love, so I will be back for that soon. They also have started a 2 for 22 deal. Excuse my pic of the steak dinner. I forgot to take the pic until after I cut it. Come and check it out. Good food. Good employees. Good service.

My friends and I went to dinner and i cannot speak for everyone else but i did not have that great of an experience. It was a very large group of us (25) and i understand it was a very large group but i would expect for a large and expensive place that they would get your food correct and would be great. I did not have that experience there. i ordered a cheese burger rare with the smoked mac & cheese. First the “Smoked” Mac & cheese was dry and not pleasant at all. My burger was at least cooked well done to done. My burger was burnt at the bottom. Yes i did eat the burger because we had been waiting over 45 minutes for our food ( it was a big party so wasn’t a big deal) and i was starving so i just ate it. but for over $40 you would expect it to be amazing but it was not for me. the service was okay. we had a bunch of other issues with my friends food as well but i just thought for an expensive and nice restaurant it would’ve been way better.

Our first time as a family of 8 members, normally some of my children don't like steak or seafood but, this was an exception.I bought the membership and we agreed to come back soon!Highly recommended.

Husband Ordered Texas T bone, medium rare came well done. Waitress said she would get the manager, they never came. Door says Bobbie Jo is the General Manager. Should have taken a picture but my husband was too angry. Not even an attempt to make it right. Bill over $80. Paid for Asparagus and a salad. Shameful ?

The waiter and waitress were both really nice. The steak was done to perfection on my end. Also get a lot of food portion for the price.Parking: Easy for handicap to access even with a cane.

Maybe dining in is a completely different experience,as I'm scrolling through these other reviews..but absolutely *do not* order online or to-go for pick up. This was my first experience at this place and I won't ever be back. Promising myself and my family. Our food was cold when we got home. You should not be able to grab a baked potato with your hand straight out of the box if it's freshly cooked. Our online order was promised at 6:45pm.. After much confusion, and me asking for a refund and pulling up my bank statements to prove I'd been charged, the food was magically found,or just completed at 7:35pm..I do not live far...so please tell me why every single thing in the bag was cold? Thanks for the random salad we didn't order,I guess? The only reason I'm posting this and you're getting one star is because I wanted you to know that the carrot cake was THE only good part about our first time. Worth $74? Absolutely not.Go somewhere else.

I wouldn’t know how the food tastes. Went in and was not greeted very nicely, was told there was going to be a 25 minute wait for a table for 2 so we gave them our name and phone number. About 45 minutes went by so we went in to check, they said they could not find their servers and would contact us when they’re ready for us. Over an hour and a half went by and was still never contacted about having a table ready. Unfortunately, I’m not going to waste my time coming back. So much for my birthday dinner…

Just ate here for Father's day. The service was awful. The food was good but there were things missing from our salads, waiter never checked on us. Food took forever to come out even though there were only a few other tables in there. We were there for an hour and a half. We only ordered entrees. Needless to say that we will not be back. Very disappointed since they had a decent gluten free menu.

I made my reservation via Open Table and arrived about 5 minutes prior to my reserved time. We were told they were not honoring reservations and we would have a wait of about 45 minutes. After we pushed back, we were seated during our reserved time. It then took us almost 2 hours to get our food. Service was horrible.

Made a reservation here on OpenTable and they seated us 1hr later. We had looked at the menu so we ordered right away and it took 1:15min to get our salads out and then another 30 min for our steak entree. Ordered the 16oz ribeye MR-came out extremely charred on the outside and was poor quality meat. We have had better at Texas Roadhouse next door. They didn't apologize or even offer to comp a dessert or anything,

We went for lunch on Memorial Day. They were a bit slow. We had cheese fries, which were loaded with bacon and sour cream. Potatoes were cut into little chunks. Really good.We also has the tenderloin tips with shrimp with rice and vegetable medley. Excellent.Clayton was our server. Very attentive. Great service.

The food was pretty good. It took a while to get our drink order taken. When the appetizers arrived they were cold. The entrees took a long while in the opinion of some people in our party. It was Mother’s Day and we had a large party so I would think that it is to be expected. Ive been here on a Friday night with just two people and was seated quickly and had food quickly. The service could have been better today though. This restaurant could take some lessons from the one in Metairie. It is amazing

Went on Mother's Day. Had reservation for 11:00. Service was fair at best. Ordered steaks (medium) and they were overdone (medium well to well) and dry. Itemized bill was not correct also. Wrong items and prices, i.e. steak came with grilled shrimp but grilled shrimp were charged separately. Instead of paying menu price of $32.99, somehow we paid $36.99. Was not worth fighting as we would have been there even longer. First time trying Saltgrass and not impressed at all.

Service was decent. We went in with a large group of almost 20 people. We arrived early, and were seated early. I had a double ranch water and it was tasty and potent. Our group had appetizers tooBrisket queso nachos, cheesy fries, fried mushrooms, bread and butter. All were pretty good. I had the beef bacon wrapped Filet, Oscar topping, grilled shrimp, fried asparagus, and Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was supposed to be smoked, but it didn't come through. The filet was nice and tender, bacon flavorful. The oscar crabmeat topping was flavorful and not fishy. It had very very flavorful capers. The juices soaked into the asparagus and made em reeeeaaal good. Good choice. The plating was intentional and artistic with a diamond pattern.Overall I enjoyed myself. But I will not choose to go here because I am not a big fan of steakhouses. I could feel my gut was tired the next day. All the food was heavy and difficult to digest. Beef, cow dairy, and wheat heavy. Surely we could have picked differently. It seems there were a few options, not extensive, for other diets.Dietary restrictions: If you cannot eat wheat, dairy, or beef, i recommend you go elsewhere

We made a reservation but it was not needed for the Wednesday night. We were pleasantly greeted and shown to a table. Our wait staff was on point, very cordial and helpful. Our meals were timely and cooked to perfection. We were offered dessert and the 3 of us found what we wanted and they were very tasty. Thank you to the Saltgrass staff for a wonderful atmosphere.
