This was by far the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. 2 times in a row. We ordered our food, which was a variety of the 2-meat platters. Upon arrival, they inform us there is no beef brisket. They were also "out" of half the sides on the menu, one employee was undoubtedly high. This is the second time I've ordered from this place and they conveniently didn't have whatever it was we were asking for. Please send a health inspector this place should be shut down.

reliable quality bbq over the years. The best in the area. Quality ingredients and kitchen just puts out a delicious array of bbq all the times I have eaten here. Their catering is top notch as well. I’ve had their catering at Saint Paul’s high school events many times. It’s hard to find good bbq in this area. Look no further my friends!

We picked up 2 orders of ribs with Mac & Cheese and Baked Beans as sides On our way back from the Franklinton Fair. The food was outstanding. I eat bbq quite a bit and these ribs are the best I've ever had and the baked beans were amazing (loaded with pieces of brisket).

The food was decent, but the service was absolutely lackluster. It was late on a Saturday afternoon. Maybe the guys were tired but they didn't seem to care whether we were there or not.
Stumbled upon this place otw to buy camping gear. Upon entering we were greated by that sweet Southern charm. Food was delicious and the sides were amazing. I ordered a Caesar salad. The dressing was homemade and was topped with shaved Parmigiano. Wow, definitely taking a trip out to Covington the next time we want BBQ.

The meat and the sauce here are the stars. If you want expertly seasoned chicken and pork this is it.The downside however are the sides pale sharply in comparison. Which is fine it's a BBQ restaurant.We had the pulled pork and chopped chicken. Both were served on delicious brioche buns.I would easily come here again

Excellent, consistent, old school BBQ joint. Can't go wrong with the brisket, or the chicken. I love their baked beans, they have as much meat in them as beans it seems, good and hearty. You can also get jambalaya as a side which is pretty good too.

I absolutely love eating Sweet Daddy's! Great family run business! The Brisket with the hot bbq sauce is to die for.. The corn fritters are my favorite side. Good music is usually playing & the service is friendly and helpful. No wonder Sweet Daddy's is so popular!
