I am a truck driver, and I stopped for dinner, a person named "Ruanita" helped me, a super polite, attentive and professional person, the food was great, everything was ok, I returned the next day for lunch. , and I was surprised by the poor service of the person who received me, in this case the person who received the payment, I ordered the same thing as the day before, they gave me another meal, an old, horrible guacamole from the day before, and the dish main I ordered it without pumenta, very spicy and very very salty, I called to speak to the manager and explained what happened, he apologized, he wanted to give me my money back, but I refused to return to the place, I threw the food in the trash because I couldn't eat it!

First time we've eaten here in about 5 years and it is definitely better than before. The food was very good. The service was great. The waitress kept checking on us, asking if we needed anything, brought us a drink refills right away. Even offered us drink refills to go, we declined, already too full. ?We will return and do recommend.

El Rancho is phenomenal! Every time we go in we are never disappointed! Food is amazing, service is great, food comes out quickly, and everything is reasonably priced. I highly recommend the fajita quesadilla!

We are always satisfied with the service and the food. And it doesn't empty my bank account to eat there.Parking: Large parking lot. No problem finding spaces relatively close to restaurant.

Just left el rancho Mexican grill in denham springs Watson area! After about half way through our meal, my birthday dinner, there was a roach crawling on our table ‍ told them about the issue and they just apologized and told them we weren't paying for our meal and left. This used to be my favorite restaurant in denham springs.

My husband and I stopped in here late Saturday night because the decor was so interesting. I was hoping for authentic Mexican cuisine, but it was more tex-mex style and the flavors were definitely toned down and catered to a white palate. The food is tasty, don't get me wrong, we enjoyed every bite, but if you're looking for spice or those heavy Mexican flavors, I did not find it here. We got the queso appetizer, which was great. The complimentary chips and salsa were hot and tasty, the salsa wasn't overly onion-y, which is a problem alot of tex-mex places have. My husband got the Tacos Al Carbon which were seasoned and very delicious. I got the Taco Salad, which was good, but very plain. The beef was very bland, but was mixed with the queso, which helped, and then topped with lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes. Thankfully, my husband had gotten pico de gallo as a side dish with his entree and I was able to use it to add flavor to my Salad. He also got charro beans and Mexican rice. He said the rice was more like fried rice, which while tasty, wasn't what he expected; and the charro beans were more like the pinto beans from cracker barrel, which again is a flavor profile he likes, but wasn't what he was expecting here. The service was excellent, this definitely seems to be a small family run place. The restaurant was very clean and well lit, and the decor was so interesting and unique. I really enjoyed looking at all the imagery and colors. There is also no shortage of booths, and a separate bar area.In conclusion the food is good, but definitely not what is expected when one goes to a Mexican Restaurant. I would suggest trying it out for yourself. This is definitely a place you could bring someone who doesn't like Mexican Food, because the flavor is quite plain.
