Don't be fooled by the look of the building. It's a pre-engineered metal building like a auto parts store with black tinted double doors when you walk inside, it's one big room with horizontal planks, a bar to the right and a variety of seating arrangements. My wife met me there yesterday for drinks and appetizers. Half dozen fried oysters for 10 bucks is a steal. The Arancini was great. The crawfish crêpe was good. However, the crêpe was more like a pancake than a crêpe, and it was flat, not rolled, but it was good. Wine and old fashions were great. The service was excellent and prompt This is the third time I've been to Roux 25. While the Large plates part of the menu was limited, a fillet, three burgers and lasagna, the small plates side of the menu was filled with a lot of good choices. This is a hidden gem on Highway 25 between Covington and Folsom. Don't be fool by the looks of the building.

My favorite burger on the Northshore, which is excellent! Delicious shrimp appetizer, and because we were early it was nice and quiet.

Stopped for dinner last Friday. I had passed it for awhile and wanted to give it a try. I didn’t even drink alcohol. We had 2 appetizers, 2 entrees and my husband had 2 drinks. The bill was $250! I expected farm to table food but that wasn’t the case so it’s a lie. The food was over seasoned by a lot. The oyster dressing didn’t even taste of oyster at all. The atmosphere doesn’t exist. You’re in a small box with bar right next to you. What really ticked me off was afterwards I noticed a convenience fee for 7.96! For what!? We paid with a debit card. Legally they are supposed to forewarn you if you will be charged anything extra. Never again going there. Very overpriced and not worth it.

Quaint place with exceptional quality food. We loved our experience at Roux 25 and we will be back. Katie was our server, she made recommendations and was able to explain each item on the menu. It is a small menu, but the quality of the food is barnone. So much flavor!!!! It was like an explosion of layered flavors in each bite. Drinks were very good as well. Can't wait to go back and experience the next menu.

Food ok but very expensive - $8.5 for a soft drink and $7 for a glass of ice tea - was ridiculous - inside was very noisy. Hard to have conversation at table - ac wasn’t cooling as it should have - order to food on table 50 minutesNever again.for me - suggest trying anywhere

To have such a place hidden away in Folsom is criminal. Best food on the north shore hands down!

They should change the name to Rue 25 bar. We didn’t enjoy dining with 150 kids at the bar talking so loud that we couldn’t even hear each other speak at our table: Won’t be back!
