Visiting in the area for the weekend from Illinois. Was told of this local store/restaurant in Folsom. Has some indoor and outdoor sitting. We ordered the seafood platter, red beans and sausage and fried softshell crab. Mixed up the sides with fried okra, turnip greens and sweet potato fries. Besides having a little bit of a mixup with a couple sitting next to us on a couple of our sides, I would definitely recommend stopping out having a bite to eat. Might have a little bit of a wait getting your food but it might be worth it if you're not in a hurry.

One of my favorite places to eat. Everything you order here is homemade by the best cooks! Then too it off with superb ice creams and floats however you like them. Fried chicken is the best! Fried fish I love abs order often. Love their slaw and baked beans are so yummy!

I've eaten here a few times since this past summer. It was ok, but nothing spectacular. The best thing I've eaten from here were the boiled crabs. They were cold. I don't know why everyone up here thinks this is fine. Why can't y'all boil a couple times in the afternoon, advertise those times, flash a hot boiled crabs sign and post to FB? I think your business would grow tremendously! The second best thing I've had here was the fried catfish! Nothing taste shattering but very acceptable for fried catfish. I'll eat here again when crawfish season starts and then I'll see.

Ordered a large shrimp poy boy for $13. It was maybe 8 inches. Had 10 dime size gritty shrimp and was COLD. Had to wait 20 minutes after arrival for the food to be finished. I’ll never be back. Heaps of mayonnaise. Called to talk to someone and was questioned like those things simply could have not happened.

Fried pork chops were almost raw. Corn was out of a can with no taste.Fay was good plus friendly.
waitress knew that cheese was yellow but knew no difference between American & cheddar . Got my drink order wrong. Food was horribly salty. For being such a neat & clean place they were very disorganized. Would not have given even the one star but for the cleanliness of the place. They should stick to snowball & ice cream..

Was rude to my child and thought could yell at her had to be the bigger person and cancel order sorry my kid has autism or sorry your just a rude person but to owner should check their staff because with people like that see you losing alot of business

EDIT: Went back for a pizza tonight and was not impressed after the one we had 2 days ago. Saturday night crew you blew it!Great tasting thin crust pizza! Everyone was very friendly. Lots of preserves and pickled foods, homemade pies, homemade fudge, and Blue Bell ice cream. There are lots of Christmas food novelties right now.I'm definitely going there again to try the plated meals.
