“My taste buds are dancing! They served up some of the best smoked brisket and ribs I've ever had, the brisket melts in your mouth and the meat fell right off the bones. The sausage links had great smoky flavor and were super juicy. The chef let us sample the chopped beef and jambalaya and they were both delish! We lucked out and got the last banana pudding and that topped off our meal deliciously. Don't let the shack in the middle nowhere fool ya. Great eats coming from a humble establishment.So glad we made the stop, very easy parking and right off the interstate. (Enough parking to stop in our moving truck) Don't miss out! “Great little local stop for BBQ. You will need to be patient because the owner is the operator who was working alone when I went. He was super personable and I enjoyed conversing with him as he filled my order. Tried the brisket and chicken which were wonderful. Ribs must be popular, he was out when I went after work. The potato salad is on the sweet side, so if you prefer the tang of traditional mustard potato salad you may not like it. I bet he would let you sample it first! We will go back. Gotta try those ribs!”

“Very nice truck stop. I see folks complaining about the parking but it really isn't too bad. The problem with the trash all over are some of my fellow truck driver. Ladies inside are pretty nice and friendly.”

Everything is always fresh, in stock and service is great. Ms Lisa is always nice and helpful, as well as the other employees. We will definitely keep returning and happy to have them close by.”
