The service provided was exceptional and surpassed any dining experience I have had in recent years. The quality of the food was also commendable.

Everything about this place is just okay. I got a medium house margarita and 2 tacos for $25 and after completing my meal felt like it should’ve cost $18 max. No seasoning on either the fish or shrimp taco and the shrimp only came w lettuce. The marg was okay in flavor but was light on the alcohol. I wouldn’t come back intentionally unless I just really wanted Mexican and didn’t feel like a longer drive. Sometimes proximity wins. Meh.

This was the first Mexican restaurant we tried after moving to Louisiana from California. I was really hoping it would be a hit, as it's close to home. However, I don't have to go back. The restaurant was nice and clean. The service was quick, and the waiter was pleasant. However, my food was blah. To be honest, I don't remember what the rice and beans tasted like, but I know I didn't finish them. The cheese sauce on my chicken enchilada tasted like the cheese sauce you buy in the jar and heat in the microwave. My husband's taco salad was the most basic taco salad I've ever seen. He would've done better going to Chipotle. I gave it 2 stars since my daughter did enjoy her birria tacos.

Love it. I work close so I go here quite often for lunch or after work. My usuals are the chicken or beef enchiladas but, of course, you'll find all of the dishes you'd expect to find at a Mexican restaurant. You won't be disappointed with the options or quality of the food here. The couple who own the place are very friendly and personal. Both have made me feel at home and welcomed since my very first visit when it first popped up in the area. From my experiences there, there seem to be a lot of regulars and a most of diners seem to know each other and have gotten to know the owners well from frequenting the restaurant so often which should tell you something about the quality of the food and feel of the place. There are lunch specials but the prices on the regular menu aren't that bad either. I don't think I've ever paid over $20 for my meal and a drink which includes chips and salsa, so you can't complain about that. I've never had an adult beverage there since I'm mostly going midday during work but there is a bar there and if I come later people are often enjoying margaritas and such. Yes. Definitely go support this local business if you're in the mood for Mexican food. Not sure how close it is to do everyone else in that area but it would be worth a little drive as well. For me it's great to have an option for lunch, besides Subway or the Chinese place in that same shopping center. Looking forward to my next visit!

I was surprised to find interior Mexican food only a few minutes from my home in Pelican Crossing. To be fair, I moved to the area from Austin, Texas, where Fonda San Miguel restaurant is one of the best, if not the best, interior Mexican restaurants in the US. The chili relleno was good, but they only have them stuffed with cheese (I prefer the shredded pork picadillo). I tried their flautas, but they were rather chewy. The dining room is nice, the owners are friendly and approachable, and take out was a snap. They even have a very nice bar. I would certainly go back there again.

Food was not good. Salsa was, but the chicken in our burrito, quesadilla & enchiladas tasted like it was boiled in water, super dry and not flavor.

The queso was great. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla And what they gave me wasn’t that. It was bad. It was so greasy i couldn’t eat it & it only had 3 shrimp. I was highly disappointed.

I liked this restaurant. My margarita was ?. I just did not care for my entree. I had tacos; chicken & beef. Neither was seasoned to my liking, but the food was fresh. My husband had lunch fajitas and loved them . We plan to return.

The food is sooo delicious! The portions are a lot for one person on most menu items. Great prices. We love going all the time. Super friendly staff & owners! They make excellent handcrafted margaritas!! Jacquie & Mack

It was the first time visiting this restaurant. it's 4:00 pm, and it's understandable it's slow. The chips come warm with a mixture of flour and corn tortilla. The salsa has a slow heat and tastes fresh. I am having the beef fajitas. I decided to start this review while waiting on my food. I don't understand why the wait is longer than I expected, since the restaurant is slow. I did notice a to go order go out before us. I found the fajitas well seasoned and delicious ?. I would certainly come again.the service was friendly and welcoming.
